Hope ya don't mind if I chime in a little bit.........
Agreed, best to narrow the chalks down to a game..........Atlanta giving 9 to a divisional opponent sounds like a terrible idea at first glance....Ide have to look into that one more.. ...
Green Bay giving 9 to a terrible Dallas team seems like a bad idea too. At some point Dallas will be competitive. Doubt they win the game, but it wouldnt surprise me to see them playing in a close one on Sunday.......
Minnesota has to be the best option out of them. Arizona showed me alot this past weekend.......Their defense wasn't good at all at home vs a sometimes stagnant Tampa offense. Their offense looks like shit. Combine all this with the Qb controversy I am expecting them to get pounded on Sunday......I don't see them stopping Peterson and I am confident any QB starting for Minny will be able to get the job done. Arizona won't be able to run the ball either which will put a ton of pressure on 2 turnover prone QB's.....
as for the dogs......
I wouldn't trust a Cleveland play due to how good New Englands defense has been playing.....5 is just not enough points even though I love that Dog pound Defense
Love Seattle....little nervous after a gmen bye but Seattle is great at home, I expect them to at least keep it within the number
Cincinnati sounds great too........I don't expect Pitts offense to do too much. If Cinci can manage a couple touchdowns then watchout........
Agree 100% on Minny being the play out of those chalk games. The more I look at the Atlanta-TB matchup, the more I think those teams are too evenly balanced to lay 8 or 9. Whether Atlanta whoops them or not(which I think they absolutely can), laying those points is not the way to wager on this one. I feel the same for Dallas. It seems like they have given up and haven't played a game with fire in ages, but they still are loaded with talent, and can win that game.
I disagree with you a bit about the New England defense. I think they have been getting by with smoke and mirrors, and everyone from Buffalo to Miami to Baltimore to San Diego to Minnesota moved the ball with ease on them. I give credit to New England though as with good disciplined ball, stellar special teams, and occasional big plays they found a way to win all of those games. Sure wish I could get more than 4.5 with Cleveland though.
