Jets over 23
The Jets have covered this number 5 out of 7 times this year while Det has given it up 5 out of 7 games.
I think the inconsistent running game of the Lions will come back to haunt them and the Jets get good field position that even Sanchez can work with. We are going to need his help to make this happen as he has struggled recently. Jets have also covered this number in all 3 road games while avg 31 ppg.
Clev under 20
NE is giving up 22 ppg but has not allowed an opponent to score more than 20 in the last 4 games.(2 teams pushed) Cle has had a week off and hopefully will come out rusty. Clev has only scored over this number twice this year.
SD over 27
SD is avg 26 ppg and are facing the worst pass D and one of the worst scoring D's in the NFL. SD should be able to move the ball even with their slew of backups. Houston's offense should give SD some perfect short field opportunities. Houston has held Indy and Oak to under this number while Dallas and Wash scored 27 against them.
Carolina under 17 pts
Carolina has the worst scoring offense avg 12 ppg and NO gives up 18 ppg. Throw out the game against San Fran, and the Panthers scored 6 -Chicago, and 7 points at home against TB and Cincy...both of those teams are ranked #24 and #25. I think New Orleans will want to control the ball more than usual and just get out of here with a win. Carolina has scored less than this 5 out of 7 games. It would have been 6 if Carolina doesn't block NYG punt for a safety in the 4th.
Seattle under 17 pts
Looks like a rainy Seattle day tomorrow. Seattle QB Whitehurst gets his first taste of the NFL tomorrow. To bad against a team that will exploit this awful offensive line. Looking at the lineup
Whitehurt, Lynch, Williams, Butler, and Carlson., it really doesn't wreak of firepower. Would love to see NYG get up early and sit on the ball for the rest of the game.
Indy over 22.5
Indy avg 27 ppg and is #2 in ypg. Indy avg 26.5 ppg on the road this year. Peyton is going to pass and keep the pressure on the Eagles secondary. Indy has covered this spread 6 of 7 times this year. Philly's D is giving up 22.4 ppg.
