Both of these teams have had terrible schedules and played absolutely noone yet this year. The Steelers are 5-2 and have lost to Denver and Arizona who are both bad teams. The Ravens are 4-3 and have lost to Buffalo, Cleveland and Cincinnati who has been proven to be a fraud. Both Buffalo and Cleveland have turned it around. Now - who have each of these teams beat?
Pittsburgh has beaten Cincinnati, Seattle, San Francisco, Buffalo and Cleveland. They beat Buffalo and Cleveland in their first two games and since then both of these teams are 100% better then they were when they played the Steelers. The Bengals, Seattle, San Fran are all terrible teams. The Ravens have beaten St. Louis, San Fran, Arizona, NY Jets who are all terrible teams!
I think people are over estimating how good Pittsburgh is this year and this line is way out of whack. The Ravens beat the Steelers easily last year twice by a combined score of 58-7 and are coming off their Bye week. Pittsburgh is coming off a nice road win at Cincinnati (but we have seen that Cincinnati is done and have packed it in). There is no way this line should be the Steelers by 9 points.
It opened at 7 point only because Pittsburgh is perceived as the better team and the public thinks they will blow out the Ravens tonight. That is why the line has moved from -7 to -9 and even -10 in some places. The Public is usually wrong and in this case are wrong for sure! This will be a much closer game with Baltimore even having a good chance of winning this game. Of course it comes down to the play of the QB's and how Rothlesburger and McNair play tonight. This game will be won by a last second field goal so, the play is to take the Ravens and the points! I wouldn't go so far as to take the Ravens ML because Pittsburgh is something like 11-0 on Monday nights but the Ravens will make a game of this.

collegelifeAU - I hope I am right too so I win my bet! GOOD LUCK!
vegasthrowdown - I agree with your play but too close for me to play it! GOOD LUCK!
Tridge - I am just going on the fact that the line moved up so much so to me that is Public money that moved the line. Plus - the Public LOVES Favorites (they want to be on the winner) so they are probably putting their money on the Steelers! Nothing is guaranteed and this is just my opinion. SORRY - but this is just a discussion forum and not a guarantee. Take it or leave it! GOOD LUCK!

DirtPro13 - Not sure about that - McNair is back but one good hit away from being out again. I didn't know about Stover not playing. That is new - BUMMER!
bet-the-pats - I don't bet those! Sounds OK?
Tridge - Keep that number handy - I might need it after tonight!

hahaha - I just found this picture while bored at work, couldn't resist using it..
What do you think about the fact that the Ravens will be without their top two CB's in a secondary that already ranks at the bottom of the league?? Makes me a bit nervous about taking the under like I had planned

Great logo - I thought you used to have a different Avatar! Yes - and with Stover out that worries me as well. Already have my bet in. If things are really going bad will have to rebet or refigure things at halftime - Love the 2nd half bets! GOOD LUCK!

I hope he remembers that Greyhound - and for my fantasy week I hope he does somthing about it! haha hoping he gets a garbage TD and about 50-60 yards (I feel like that would be a miracle judging by his two preformances last year).

lennon65 - Maybe they lose 10-6 then but I still don't think Pittsburgh covers. Ed Reed will pick off big beg at least once and keep them out of the end zone!

There are other factors besides the public that makes the line move and you know that bettwowin.. You have told me this on many occasions... Seems like you have made up your mind on the play not matter what... I kinda think the line is a lil wack which makes me like pitt even more. I just dont like McNair coming off an injury. If he gets hurt and the backup comes in do they change their gameplan? Oh check the weather its gonna be bad... I havent read anything about stover being out.

chodya - Someone said Stover was out but I don't see that any where! He is listed as Probable. McNair threw against them pretty well last year and so did Denver. I think that the Ravens will get their offense on track just enough tonight and get some turnovers to keep this game close! GOOD LUCK!
