to the Bengals at 5..Joe Burrow gets back his favorite receiver from the national championship run and the Bengals select a quality lineman early in round 2. Chase is currently -145 under 5.5..thoughts?

Agree ..Think he goes 5th and wouldn't be shocked if someone traded up to take him 4th...
-145;isnt bad

@kmoney89
Receivers, O-Line, D-Line, LB's....Maybe a QB if they're not interested in keeping Goff around. They may trade back for more draft picks (future #1).

@detroitdavid
Sounds like the Lions could go a number of ways at 7..would think they would draft Sewell if he's still on the board at 7. Chase 5.5 is -175 now..gut feeling is the Bengals grab him at 5.

Bengals (and JB9) rrrreally want Chase at #5.
Falcons at #4 want a receiver is the consensus (Chase or Pitts?)
The 49ers are in a VERY enviable position right now...lol...blockbuster draft swap could be in the works. The 49ers can still pick their QB at #4 or #5, if they have a specific QB in mind. (Don't think they value all 3 QBs the same.)
49ers are not releasing Jimmy G free and clear for another team to take him, even with the huge cap hit that team would have to absorb (only a couple teams could cover that cap hit...NE Pats?)
49ers, in "win now" mode, are not releasing Jimmy G and putting all their hopes and dreams (and Lynch and Shanahan future) of "win now" in the hands of a rookie QB.
If 49ers at #3 don't take a QB and go for Chase to rrrrreally open up other teams' deep secondaries, then Falcons prolly go with Pitts and Cincy takes Sewell to help JB9's protection.
If 49ers go for Pitts and the dynamic 2-TE strategy, then Chase goes to Atlanta and Sewell still to Cincy at #5.
Cincy NEEDS to trade up to #3 to be sure to have options (Chase or Sewell). At #4 Cincy prolly has Sewell locked up...but they want Chase.
49ers can get their QB at either #4 or #5, so they could easily get a mid-first round additional pick from Cincy to swap places. Cincy moving to #4 almost guarantees getting Chase, but do they want to chance 49ers taking Chase at #3.
Lotta stuff is gonna depend on the #3 pick. If 49ers don't take a QB we could be in for a some real excitement in the war rooms and great TV viewing.
Can't wait !!!

If 49ers traded all that draft capital to take Chase at 3 they will never live it down. They are taking QB at 3. Chase to be 1st non QB drafted +350 seems like good value. If ATL trades out of 4 or decides to take QB think it is a winner.

@benhogan76
I hear ya, bud...but we're all assuming QBs were going 1-2-3.
What if that assumption is bogus? It could be bogus, no? When is it written in stone?
Jimmy G almost won the 2019 SUPE...should have if his DC and HC had BALLZ !!!!!
So adding Kyle Pitts to create a Kittle/Pitts offense (with Deebo and Brandon) makes sense? C'mon...you don't have to like it, but it makes sense. It was a killer for the NE Pats back in 2011.
What ever happened to keeping an open mind?

Agree it has good value , my only concern is this draft on paper is top heavy at WR ...

Could be, again if they gave away what they did to get to 3 and take either Pitts or Chase they will be crushed. Jimmy G has show he can’t stay healthy and seems like Shanny believes he is the most important part of offense, he wants QB that can just do what he says.

"All that Draft Capital"...no offense meant...but want does that mean?
The consensus (which is a committee) says pick so-and-so.
There are 3 QBs after Lawrence/Wilson...who the heck knows?
Pitts and Chase are virtual LOCKS to be great NFL players.
Why wouldn't the 49ers pick one or the other - already having an NFL game-ready QB?????

No offense but their next 2 number 1s and a 3rd.
To get a TE or WR? Take a look at TEs in last 10 years that are taken in 1st round and also comparison of WR taken in 1st to 2nd round. If 49ers don’t take QB it is ridiculous move up.
