OK, here's what I like and my take this evening for our Monday Night Football game between the Colts and Dolphins. We all know that "Joe Public" will be all over the Colts here simply because of past years performances and the name of Peyton Manning alone. But I as a handicapper have enough sense to see that this is not even close to the "Dynasty" teams the Colts once were. Lots of players gone for different reasons whether it be from retiring, trades or injuries and to me it seems like their Offensive Line is "shaky" at best. On the other hand, I look for Miami's Offensive line to be more physical here tonight and not give up three or four turnovers like they did to Atlanta. That was definately a key point to them losing last week or atleast not covering. I look for the Dolphins defense to bring lots of pressure not allowing Peyton to get comfortable in the pocket too. Look for Manning to be on the move all night long! If you're a trends follower then the underdog between these two teams is 8-1 ATS in their last nine meetings and Indy is only 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
As for the O/U, I look for a pretty low scoring affair here where we are going to see plenty of three and outs on both sides of the ball. Both teams struggled on Offense last week resulting in Under cashes in the two games. I have no reason to believe that all of the sudden both teams are going to light up the scoreboards tonight at all. As a matter of fact, Indy has played 6 of their last 8 dating back to last season, playoffs included, UNDER the posted total, while Miami has played 10 of their 12 dating back to a season ago, also playoffs included, UNDER the posted total.
