How Teams do Playing the week after London

So I was wondering how teams fared after having to play the week after playing in London, in the past almost every team had a bye the week after, except 5. this year teams have chosen to play after and take their bye later on in the season. found the article linked below on how the 5 did.

Small sample size and on first glance nothing stuck out

• Post-London teams without a bye went 2-2-1 ATS and 2-3 SU
• Favorites went 1-1 both ATS and SU
• Underdogs went 0-1-1 ATS and lost both games
• Three overs and two under

But digging further and a few things pop up

• Post-London team totals are 3-2 to the under
• Opponent team totals are 4-1 to the over

  Of the five post-London teams, three were thoroughly outplayed the following week by the numbers, and only one played relatively well.

  Two of the five won, but both of them needed fumble luck for the winning score and could have lost. None of the five ever led comfortably, and each was in position to lose late.

Good info. Sounds like Bears +7 or better and Seattle +5 or better are the plays. That was where I was leaning anyway and your logic makes sense.

 Yeah or atleast the Team Totals over

Seattle flying to Detroit, then flying back to Seattle, then flying to New Orleans...if you do the math, it's not a huge difference compared to flying from New Orleans to London and back.  And of course, it's less "traveling logistics," making one trip vs two, and it's not going home, then leaving again, etc.

Just sayin', I don't think that's an angle to play for that game.

 well Sea or Chi are not really an angles but Sea TT over is as is Chi... will have to seee how teams defenses hold up after back to back road games with so much travel.

 I like how you’re thinking. I don’t touch London games and I don’t bet on teams after one. I will bet against them if their opponent is a play. Never looked at the stats on it. Done some international traveling and know it’s an adjustment. 

So 2 of the 5 teams that played a game the week after London won and covered their games. What 2 teams and games was this? Did they cover teaser spreads against them as well?

were Colts vs bears as 3 point fav in 2016

and Mia as PK vs Tenn 2017

All six teams that have played OT games have lost the following week. Now you have a GB team coming off an OT win laying -8 or maybe it’s -8.5. Line may have changed, not really sure. That seems like a lot of points. 

Now we have Rodgers calling out his coaches for being in a grumpy mood. How fucking bizarre is that????
