Green Bay and Tennessee go into their Week 9 contest atop their
respective divisions. The packers have the luxury of an additional week
of rest having enjoyed their bye week last Sunday. That could be big
not only because the Packers are 7-1 SU & 5-3 ATS after the bye,
but also because they are expected to get several key defensive
starters back from injury. Their last outing was their most impressive
win of the season, a 34-14 rout of Indianapolis, the fifth SU & ATS
win in a row for HC Mike McCarthy’s team vs. the AFC. Of course, his
team also boasts a 14-5 ATS record on the road in his tenure. The
Titans also last played the Colts, this past Monday night. HC Jeff
Fisher’s team is 29-14 ATS vs. the NFC, including wins in two straight
over Green Bay.
Consensus seems to be Packers + the points and the over. I ain't convinced of anything as of yet. What you think guys?

Question is will Collins have an easy time throwing the ball as he did against the Colts. Does the DL of Packers match up with Titans OL -- I mean Titans had 50 pounds extra per person against the Colts!

Packer fan here and this is correct but it actually might hurt the Packers more than it helps. There is many Packer fans ,including me, who think that Tramon Williams the guy filling in for Al Harris is better than Al Harris. He has been playing great. Getting interceptions and not getting burned. The same goes for Allan Rouse the guy filling in for Atari Bigby.
The Packer defense was starting to come together the last few weeks before the bye week and now they are going to throw these other guys back in there. It might backfire. If you saw any of Al Harris playing last year, you know that the guy was starting to lose it. He got seriously abused in several games.
I'm just throwing that out there. There was actually an article in the Milwaukee papers about this very subject. If I find it , I'll link it.
They are supposed to get Justin Harrell back also. He's last years first round draft pick who has been a disappointment so far due to injuries. He's a defensive tackle and that should help the run defense a little bit.

Why not put a small wager on a team that has been playing with consistency on both sides, playing at home, laying less than a TD, and enjoy the game. Don't make it too hard on yourself thinking about possible letdown, by week, blah blah blah...

The Patriots went 8-0 ATS last season but that is rare. A team like the Titans that is undervalued to begin with is going to have a much easier time flying under the radar, even for half a season.
That said, they will have a let down game. They will lose at least a couple. So you have to start looking at what teams can beat them and to me the Pack off a bye fits that scenario perfectly. If they can shore up their run D (I think they have the pieces) I think this is a team that can make a run at the Bowl in the NFC, though it would of course be very tough.... The Packers have had some hiccups on the way but every team has those.
The Titans' comes this weekend IMHO. And yes, I love the under.
