We’re not talking some guy with multiple rings we talking the GOAT here. At Home. For first time ever. Yes all signs point to KC, better team, coach, receivers, etc.... and that’s usually how it goes when the OTHER team wins. Vegas cleans up on Super Bowl Sunday with your little “Mahomes bets”...
Give me “TAMPA BAY AND THE GOAT MONEYLINE $” pleaseeee

Your “logic” makes no sense. You say the GOAT is playing at home in the SB in a revenge game no less, and all signs point to KC, which is why Vegas will clean house?

you're making no sense. Mahommes is the goat... you're statement was correct the first time... Brady is called the goat because he won plenty of superbowls on good teams... nobody has ever said he's the goat for being the best quarterback... guess what.. he's not on those patriots teams anymore. The real goat... the man who is the most talented qb we have ever seen.. MAHOMMES will win this game fairly easily however he wants to.
Think about this... when has there ever been a team without a dominant or at least way above average defense doing what Chiefs have done... two back to back superbowls without a dominant or higher tier defense... Mahommes is not dinking and dunking checkdowning his way to wins while the defense holds him down like brady did for Patriots in the 2000's ... he's out here winning any way possible... exposing defenses in blowouts... evading sacks... bombs down the field.... even winning in heroic fashion like the great bret favre with sandlot football when needed.. watch the tape and get a reality check.... the goat is before your eyes and his name is Mahommes... he has everything.... a bit of manning... a bit of favre.. a bit of brady... a bit of aaron rodgers.... list goes on.... we've never seen anything like it.

I will say this game ranks as an all time Top 5 Quarterback Super Bowl match up. Better QB? I guess at this exact moment, its Maholmes, but he has along way to go to catch Brady, that is, if he continues playing into his 40s.Tall order. Matchup Tight End KC Receivers Even Running Back Even Defense Tampa Special Teams KC
you're being delusional... he's already surpassed brady... mvp first season..... two back to back seasons with less than double digit interceptions..... brady at no point in time was ever a better quarterback than Mahommes... there's nothing that brady does that Mahommes can't do or hasn't done better on the field. If you pressure Mahommes he still makes the right play... if its too much pressure and he finds the opening he scrambles to the right spot... if he has to sidearm throw like favre he adjusts... he he has to draw up a play sandlot ball he does... Brady's skillset is not better than Mahommes... People need to stop with the nonsense just because the guy won superbowls on good teams with arguably the greatest coach of all time.

Mahomes is great today, no doubt. Brady has been great, absolutely! But to say he's surpassed Brady, what are you smoking??? Pass the blunt or pass out my friend.

do you have eyes.. what does brady do better than Mahommes? what has he ever done better than Mahommes? let's have an educated discussion... if you mention superbowls your argument will already be dead because that's a team accomplishment... ill wait... what skill has brady had that Mahommes does not?

2001 - beat Kurt Warner (MVP) in which the defense held the league's highest scoring team to 17 points. Won 20-17. Defense won the game.
2003 - beat Jake Delhomme and the 3rd seeded Carolina Panthers in a shootout by a FG. Won 32-29. I can confidently say Brady won this game.
2004 - beat Donovan McNabb and #1 seeded Eagles by a FG in a game that was tied after 3q. Won 24-21. I can confidently say Brady won this game.
2007 - lost to the 5th seeded NY Giants with an undefeated team and the greatest offense he ever had, only putting up 14. Lost 17-14. Brady choked away this game with a record-setting offense.
2011 - lost again to the 4th seeded NY Giants and only able to put up 17 points on offense. Lost 21-17. Brady choked away this game with undeniably the better team.
2014 - beat Russell Wilson and #1 Seattle via the memorable Malcolm Butler once-in-a-lifetime pick. 100-out-of-100 times I would take Seattle if I was faced with a similar situation. Seattle choked away the game.
2016 - 28-3 comeback game against Falcons. Again, 100-out-of-100 times I'd take Atlanta to win that game. That win is nothing other than a complete choke-job by Atlanta.
2017 - lost 41-33 to #1 seeded Philadelphia. Forget that Foles was a backup coming into the season. Philly had a great team all year that season so this game could have gone either way.
2018 - 13-3 win against the Rams. Brady played like a game manager, dinking-and-dunking all day to Julian Edelman, while Jared Goff looked like a deer in headlights in the game. Patriots defense did it all. Winning a super-bowl with 13 points on offense!!
IMO, he has done nothing spectacular that G.O.A.Ts do. Think Jordan and how many games he has willed and carried his team on his back to victory. Brady has benefitted from team play more than any other athlete I can think of. The Bucs defense is no where near as good as those Patriots defenses that won the super bowls. This is also not Delhomme, McNabb, or Jared Goff that Brady is going up against, nor is it the boneheaded coaching of Kyle Shanahan or suspect decision making of Pete Carroll that Bucs are going up against. BOL with your Bucs wager my friend
Chalks, Dogs, Overs, Unders, Props....I love 'em all

well put my friend. the facts are ignored by people. I've never ever seen a quarterback throw 3 picks in a championship game and get the praise brady has like he won the whole game ... it's very disturbing how many people fall for the brady hype. No one is taking away he's a great quarterback, however, those Patriots teams were always well disciplined well coached and with a good solid defense... bill and his coaches more often than not put those guys in positions to win and capitalized off of the other teams mistakes as you mentioned.... Mahommes is something unreal... he's willing an arguably medicore defensive team to dominance and we've never seen that.... people can say the era has something to do with it... fair enough... however.. Mahommes and his skillset is just too good... i've never seen a quarterback not be able to be stopped until this guy... its amazing to watch. There's so many times he looks like some of the great of years past put together in one out there. Mahommes simply doesn't make many mistakes on the field let alone through the whole course of the game... if he's having a bad game by the end he corrects it and wins.

I can't believe i'm saying this but he's been pretty much right about everything he's said.
Tell us what he has said that’s been right? I’m went back through a few years of Nasty capping NFL on Covers and his playoff record is not bad. He got a few SB right (though NE should not have beaten Seattle and the Pats should have lost to Atlanta) but he also missed on some conference finals games. I have not found an instance yet where he faded Brady. He was big on NE beating the Eagles. To me it seems like he is a Brady backer regardless of who he plays and/or the situation.

I meant the westbelfort dude is correct in his summation of Tom Brady's career. It's a tough debate. Who is GOAT? Very easy to get lost in the weeds. Does GOAT mean the guy who has won the most? Or the guy who is the most talented at playing the QB position? Brady has been in the league so long that i've now seen him compared to Peyton Manning in this way. To Aaron Rodgers and now to Patrick Mahomes. All three were/are more talented QBs. They all match great mental acumen with athletic talents Brady just never had. Brady had/has something too though. It's that thing. Jordan had it. ARod and Peyton did/do not but I believe Patrick Mahomes does. With that said, I think Mahomes needs to win a lot more before he's in the GOAT conversation.

Lol no one chokes like that ,unless paid to and told to. Players are paid to play , not to win.
Regardless.
This may be a blow out like what GB did to KC in the beginning. Or what kc did to Minn
2016 - 28-3 comeback game against Falcons. Again, 100-out-of-100 times I'd take Atlanta to win that game. That win is nothing other than a complete choke-job by Atlanta

ask yourself this Chic.... what is more likely? A QB who has never lost an NFL game by more than 8 points in his entire career gets blown out by 2 plus scores OR a QB whose team lost by an average margin of 10 points a game and were blown out by 4 plus TDs in the last prime time night game they played at home, gets blown out by 2 plus scores
So if you really think this will be a blow out, I think you know who to lay that alternate -10.5 or -14.5 line with for plus money

@illnasty10 Your G.O.A.T in super bowls: 2001 - beat Kurt Warner (MVP) in which the defense held the league's highest scoring team to 17 points.
Been preaching the Jordan factor with Mahomes since last year....my SB post this year was basically just that. Mahomes is Jordanesque....

@begginerboy I meant the westbelfort dude is correct in his summation of Tom Brady's career.
Thanks for clarifying. I think Brady’s greatnesses comes from his unflappability. He loves the big moments. In that sense he is more Jordan and less LBJ. To me, Manning did not relish the big moments the way Brady does. And Rodgers, though he loves the big moments, did not often have the team around him that the other two had. Mahomes seems to be wired like Brady and MJ and he has the team he needs around him.

I disagree that Brady has "this thing" that AR and Manning did not... if that thing was having the greatest coach of all time or great teams yes indeed lol... Jordan did not win without Phil.. Jordan did not win without Pippen... people get caught up in myths too much... its a team sport... Terry Bradshaw said it best... what is this "goat" thing... if it's based on winning championships then Terry Bradshaw is the goat lol but lord knows that's not the case.... the best teams win the rings and the worst teams don't.. it that simple... there's nothing brady does that exceeds Mahommes.... not one thing.... now I can say some thing Brady had over rodgers or Manning just as I can say some things they both had over him however he has not one thing over Mahommes and never did... Mahommes is complete in every aspect of the game... clutch, non phased by pressure... determination.... improvisation... great at reading defenses.... can scramble out of the pocket.. ... literally he is like the accumulation of every great quarterback we have seen in one.... Marino... manning... brady... mcnair... favre... list goes on... ... If Manning was on those teams that brady had with the Patriots he'd of won as well... in fact... he has a higher winning record over the patriots once he figured out how to beat Bill's schemes... I can give you an example of Bill's genius... take the Patriots Chiefs game this year... even with freaking Brian Hoyer Patriots were in that game for a good portion.. why?... because Bill was doing certain things on defense to actually confuse Mahommes... I'm not sure why people want to discredit the genius of Bill Belichick and ride Brady's coattails instead... maybe his personality... but it's obvious if someone is not being a fanboy. Let's present this question.... in these years with Mahommes.. have the chiefs had a defense that comes close to any of the Patriot's defenses that Brady won superbowls with?... ill do one even better... how many times was Brady even truly rushed out of the pocket with Patriots?... brady kept a clean freaking jersey most of the time... when he was pressured by the likes of Jets (Rex Ryan's jets)... Broncos (Shanny Broncos with Plummer at qb and bailey at corner), Giants ... he lost lol when Mahommes is pressured it does'nt matter because he finds a way eventually... it doesn't matter when he's blitzed why.... because he's unfazed due to his talents... Mahommes is superior... that simple... the game evolves and players evolve and Mahommes with Reid as his mentor as well is just getting started.

I agree with you on a lot, but in this you are completely wrong. Talent alone is not enough. Steve Young was way more talented than Montana but he did not have the cool/calm under pressure temperament. There are literally hundreds of examples of this in sports. Brady has it. Manning did not. Not at that level.

One more fact... im going to put this out there... If Kansas City after this win (because they will win) continue well on and well on it will be the first time we have had a dynasty based on mostly offense.... Again, the fact that Chiefs are even in this position now two years straight is incredible.... Lets be real... the defense is what even let Mahommes down from winning the bowl in his very first year... thank goodness the defense has improved over what it was then.

In fact, Steve Young himself talked about at length on a local radio show last week, explaining that Josh Allen does not possess the zen that Mahomes has, which is why Buffalo would lose.
