Why would they down when they still had a small chance. On the inside kick, the Dallas player lost the ball for a second. Shit could have got crazy. Very unlikely but possible so you don't just down the ball and quit so that people who bet Dallas -10 can win their bet.

I agree with the sentiment. I think we all know by now sports can be controlled and that last missed field goal catered with a backdoor in the AZZZZZ spells something very fishy. The people who don't believe are probably the ones thinking people should be kn jail for an unpaid parking ticket as well. My point is your never going to make them "awake". I'm seeing suggestions here that the right thing was for the giants to take a knee. Ive an old guy, have gambled all my adult life, and have seen losing teams take a knee or run plays to just run out the clock maybe 5 or 6 times. I watched thousands upon thousands of games.

If you think losing teams going on a knee is normal, you must have started gambling yesterday.
