It’s a long shot but I don’t think it’s out of the question. Indy has a tough schedule going forward with a huge game against KC this weekend. Jacksonville can lose to any team at any time the way that Trevor turns it over. If Arizona and KC win this Sunday, the race gets tighter. Anyone think Houston has a realistic chance?

Oh make the playoffs gotcha! That might be a good way for me to hedge my division winner future. I’m still hoping that they have a chance to pull it off but the jags and colts would have to fall off big time. But I think you’re onto something with make the playoffs. That defense can beat any team left on the schedule!

@maxwagers781 Also taking a look at colts under 11.5 wins at +140. Any opinion on that??
got the win with the colts rsw over 7.5 (-110). i was bullish on the colts this season. their rest of the schedule is not easy. they need to win their home games, at least split the division matchups, and win on the road at either kc or seattle. a lot to ask for. but at +140 looks worth it to me.

If you’re me, holding a Houston division winner future, is there any specific way you would handle it to protect against an all out loss? And FYI, it’s not a small ticket…

it's a three team race and the risk is higher than normal. i haven't been watching the odds for the division winner but i would be buying a position on colts to win the divsion at a better price. then get another ticket on the jags to win for a small profit. basically you're letting the houston ticket ride out on a combined three bets.

Indy is around-350 to win the division which imo is unbettable with KC on deck. Jax is between +350 and +400. The way it feels right now is that the value of my ticket entirely hinges on the results of this week’s games. If AZ beats Jax and KC beats Indy, it’s a whole new ballgame. But if either the colts or jags win this week it goes back to an ugly situation.
This is like a little puzzle that I’m trying to solve, but there’s gotta be a way to atleast cut my chances of a complete loss. For some reason I feel that the move should be made before this Sunday, but maybe I’m wrong? I’m open to all suggestions. Ty

if you really wanted to consider the colts division winner, there are cheaper prices, likely with limits. and the difference with that and the jags division winner would be about a full unit cost at the end of season. but you maybe want to take on more risk. i think an alternative is to bet on all three teams to stay under win totals at generous odds. obviously there's just one division winner so the other two are likely to lose out.
