The Bengals are not as good as people seem to think. The illusion that they are a good team can be seen in their projected win totals, and their division odds. (Ravens are a steal right now at +110 to win the AFC North) Last season, Cincy was 32nd in Rushing Offense, 26th Rushing Defense. That's always bad news when you can't run and you can't stop the run. They were also 27th in Pass Defense. Not a good thing going against Mahomes and the Chiefs revamped receiving crew.
I don't care what anybody says, Joe Burrow is overrated. He had 2 great years, followed by a mediocre season in which he went 5-5 as a starter, and then missed almost all of last season. He's certainly not on the same level as Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs have the better defense, (by far) better run game, better QB, better coach, and are playing at home. The Chiefs put up 7.1 yards per play last week against the Ravens. That was tied for the best Off YPP of any team for week 1. It's not often you find the Chiefs at home, giving less than 7 points to a non-playoff team. I hate laying 6 points with KC, and they've had had their problems with the Bengals in the past, but the Chiefs have won the last two meetings and should win this game decisively.

BOL, you make a lot of solid points. I wonder if the Bengals poor play last week was because they were looking ahead to this game? Playing the Chiefs is a religious experience to the Bengals wannabes.
I expect a max effort from the Bengals this week.
There's no such thing as "hate speech" only those that hate free speech.
