Great discussion. I do like that 50-18 trend . .. but it is obviously an extremely small sample of games. Nevertheless ... it looks like the system i built is high on the Giants +12! I will be posting the card tomorrow ... but I would be surprised if the Giants are not one of the picks. And it makes no sense logically. But like an earlier poster indicafed, being a square and picking the Broncos and Patriots every week will get you absolutely nowhere in an "any given Sunday" world. The prism of greater complexity based on solid trends is better than being obvious. I will probably be shouting go Giant Sunday ... stay tuned.

VSIN is great. I've been listening to those guys since they launched on Super Bowl Sunday. I believe that network will be huge in the near future. And they recently hired Dave Tuley. For those who don't know, he was a writer for ESPN INsider. ESPN let him go for no good reason. Most people probably aren't familiar with his work because ESPN made you pay for it, but he's full of great takes on pro and college ball.
When you say 'podcasts', although VSIN has one that I know of (hosted by a former SuperContest winner), the bulk of their content is designed to be listened to live, in my opinion.
As for the Giants, I'm leaning that way also. I believe the spread would be under double digits had the Giants beat the Chargers last week.
