Why would anyone from LA want to ever play with the Clippers?
James - Davis - Kawhi - Jack

Trading BI & Ball and renouncing all free agents frees up enough for two max spots.

Because Vegas set them at 10 to 1 after winning the title
Meaning public bettors and no realistic chance

The salary cap is going to be $109M during the 19-20' season. If we keep Lebron ($37M) and Deng's remaining stretched contract ($5M), that brings us to $42M. Davis' contract during the 19-20' season is ($27M). In total, that gets us to $69M. If the salary cap is $109M, that gives us $40M to construct the rest of our roster. If we sign one more max free agent at $32M, that gives $8M to construct the rest of our roster. Seeing that the following players are signed, -Wagner $2M -Kuz $2M -Hart $2M -Bonga $1M
it leaves 1 million, + exemptions and minimums.

Kawhi is perhaps one of the most humble players ever, he just wants to ball, he doesn't need to be the man. Playing with James and Davis can also help prolong his own career, never needing to carry a team himself. No one growing up in LA has ever said they want to be a Clipper.

No kid growing up in LA has ever said they want to be a Clipper over a Laker. The Lakers will spend the same amount as the Clipper 109 million, there is a salary cap. Nothing disorganized with a line up of James, Davis and Kawhi.

If Pelinka gets us Davis and especially if he hangs on to Kuz then then he is a genuis.
If i was Kawhi, I would have to seriously look at how much easier my game will be playing with James and Davis, less wear and tear on my body.
