Is that New Yorkers are in a different bubble every year man. I hate it. I am from New York, in sports we have been through alot. From losing Saquon Barkely last year and him winning a chip, Aaron Rodgers not living up to the hype with the Jets, Juan Soto moving to the Mets, Yanks losing to the Dodgers in the baseball World Series and losing to the Pacers in the game 7 of East Semis. Now we get another shot, healthy roster, Mitchell Robinson can run without breaking his knees, and fanbase that are ready to take a swing with anyone who opposes our opinion, but we against a team that is good without their superstar, we are against a team that all 5 games have been literally dominating us in every aspect. I hate to be in this position. If the Knicks win tonight I am telling you that all of New York will gonna be like a zoo for the weekend! If Knicks lose we are gonna be salty af again. Betting on this game is like betraying your family for money. Its like an episode on Breaking Bad where Walter White makes enough money he is willing to burn bridges.
I hate to bet on the Celtics tonight but I still will. For the love of the game, if I lose then a win for the city. If I win then I make a grand and face my friends tomorrow with fake remorse for the Knicks.
