That line screams for you to take the Mavs doesn't it?
Pelicans are on a 9 game losing streak and now they get to face the mighty Luka. Only 4 points at home should be easy for Luka against this terrible team without their star player, right??
That's why you take the Pelicans.

I’m on Pels as well. This was a championship contender before they were hit with injuries and this will be Ingrams 2nd game back. Now they’re desperate to pick up some wins. Mavs are 17-32-2 ATS this season. Let’s get it

Mavs have a one day rest advantage. I will place an live bet on Mavs if opportunity is there.
You might want to reconsider that idea. The Mavs have 2 days rest while the Pelicans have only 1, but the Mavs happen to be terrible this season in any game after they’ve had 2 days to rest. They are just 4-5 and a woeful 1-9 ATS. Their lone cover was their home opener. Since then, they’ve gone 0-6 ATS at home. Their last three such opportunities resulted in home losses to the Bucks (106-105), Celtics (124-95), and the Hawks (130-122).

I am confused about your stated 1-9 record against the spread for the Mavs. On NBA rankings site I think the -1.9 ATS refers to a point diffential, not a record. Could you please check this, and let me know if I am misreading. Thanks!

The Mavs have played 10 games this season after exactly 2 days rest and they covered the spread once.

I am on the Pelicans +5 and +175 for equal amounts. The Pelicans gave the Nuggets a tough game on Tuesday night in Denver, but the Nuggets themselves were playing after having had 2 days rest, and unlike the Mavs, the Nuggets have been strong in this situation this season at home when Jokic is in the lineup. With their 122-113 win over the Pelicans, the Nuggets are now 6-0 SU & ATS at home with 2+ days rest (and Jokic in the lineup), winning those 6 games by an average of 18 points per game.
I’m counting on the Pelicans tonight to bring the same effort they brought to Denver, and I think they will because they now have a 9-game losing streak that needs breaking.

I can see why pelicans, but a team on a big losing streak on the road should never be any type of play of the month.. An undervalued favorite should be
