March thread was terrible from start to finish. Very happy to move on to April. Should be 1 or 2 units on the hawks tonight, ca-caw

Prove it game for the hawks tonight. 0-2 against the bulls and this is the last regular season matchup but basically guaranteed to meet in the play-in. Hawks gave them elves some confidence in those Celtics games and I think they do the same here. Bulls off a big win in Minnesota. Chicago has home court in game 1 of the play-in to fight for but I think Atlanta will be much more motivated.
Atlanta Hawks +2 (-110)2u

With SGA and J Dub out tonight, OKC will be without their primary and secondary ball handlers and scorers. Giddey has been embracing the recent extra opportunities and with both guys out, he should have the ball in his hands plenty. OKC has some capable scorers outside of their regular starting lineup and I expect those guys to contribute, but I also expect Chet to really step up. He had 33 in the first meeting against Embiid and Joel is coming back from injury tonight. I know he won’t shy away from this matchup and his team needs him to be more aggressive tonight. Bounce back spot too after just 5 last game. I’m getting a little greedy with Giddey here tonight and hope it doesn’t bite me as I could just throw a unit on o8.5 (+105) but I can’t pass up all that extra value for just one more apple. Is the script *that* specific!? We shall see.

These rotations from OKC so far are very frustrating. Mark is so GD confident in his depth and I can’t say I blame him but are we really gonna play starters under 25 minutes tonight in a back and forth game?

I like Mark Daigneault a lot, but he absolutely coached himself into a loss tonight. My heart goes out to anyone who had OKC spread. The box score won't really tell the whole story when you see Holmgren with 29 minutes and Giddey with 28, but both of those guys should have been over 30 mins tonight. Both were under 12 at the half. Philadelphia had plenty to play for tonight and OKC underestimated them. Mark realized his mistake when it was all too late and basically played those two the entire 4th. He also took Giddey out with 3-4 minutes left and then couldn't get him back in because he refused to call a timeout. OKC offense really struggled for those few minutes. Giddey just standing there on the sidelines for minutes of game time.
Even with the weird rotations, I was way off on Giddey. Jaylin was the hub tonight just like Olynyk has done for Toronto of late. Interested to see if this is an anomaly.
Thankfully, Chet still hit the first rung (actually just missed a wide open 3 in the final minutes which would have got him 25) and it's a positive night. On to the next.

Yeah Lippy I think you have to factor in OKC is finally making playoffs in eons, in fact lots of teams (Orl/Chi/OKC/NO/Hou) are in unfamiliar territory. Hard to see how coaches and players will end the season knowing they have a special opportunity. Seasoned teams (GS/Bos/Den/Mia) take games off coming down the stretch.

Cash cow will be Minny 1st round, they will go like a hot knife thru butter facing media/public darlings Warriors or Lakers and loving their TT over the entire 1st round as they finally don't face Nuggs and Joker

Absolutely. Learned a lesson last night and it didn’t even cost that much by the end.
Speaking of teams in unfamiliar territory, you’d think this could be a bit of a tough game for the Pacers to find motivation but the heat are just a half game behind. I think 6 is a lot more important to Indiana than Miami, but that doesn’t mean it’ll shake out that way. Pacers just beat Brooklyn and have handled them quite easily this year in general. Next up are two home games against OKC and then Miami. The heat game is huge. Look ahead is absolutely on the table but it’s so hard to trust Brooklyn right now.
Nets are really committed to Thomas last couple of weeks and the pacers give up tons of points to SG but Cam hasn’t had a super strong game against them yet. Maybe that’s how I’ll attack it.

Great observations. I was looking at that game and what caught my eye was it is very hard to throttle a team 3 times in 2 weeks. Also, this time of year I look at scheduling for single game roadie where one team may not board the plane, this is one of those spots. I may hit Pacers TT under, not sure yet. Best of luck tonight.

No ladder today but I do expect the Pelicans to have a strong first half.
New Orleans Pelicans -4.5 FIRST HALF (+110) 1u
Still leaning Nets and Cam but just can’t seem to pull the trigger.

Tough night. Not only did the pelicans disappoint but the Nets covered, won the game as 7 point dogs, and Cam Thomas went over his scoring prop. Could have been a huge night but instead I’m giving a unit back.
Big sigh.
