Hey what's up fellas. I haven't bet an NBA game in two years, and was never really into it anyways. Thinking about getting into it as the Miami Heat Watch has kinda got me into watching the NBA again. I haven't seen enough games, nor watch the NBA enough to trust my capping skills, so I thought I would ask you my fellow Coverers to list a few of the best cappers to blind-tail for NBA Action. I've been doing this for some of my NFL and CFB plays and combining them with my own plays has worked out pretty well for me in those sports. Hopefully in a few months I'll be able to get a feel for it to just make my own plays. Thanks in advance for your help.
*And oh this is an adult's only thread, so if you are a clown don't come in here with your jibberish. Thanks!

oh yea, its never a great idea to follow anyone blindly
Yeah, you never want to do that. For games where I'm not familiar with the teams, I'll look at picks from cappers that I trust, and then take a look at the numbers myself. If it looks probable that the pick is good, I will follow. I call that blind-tailing, as I would think it would be foolish just to tail someone without at least looking at the numbers yourself. But with NBA, at first, for me, it will be a lot of blind-tailing before I can really get a good read on the games myself. Thanks again for the recommendations.

There's no such thing as the BEST NBA CAPPER!!! They only sucks people's money for payment of their picks on both side using different name. Just made your own studies and manage your gambling money. Good luck!

Yes there is -- makaveli is the best NBA capper around if you ask me, although there are plenty of other good ones who have been doing this for a while -- CMM, CMJ, kalind, 3Ball, Mikado, Bator... MANDINGO is new but has been doing well this year. I try to stick to the "long term" guys rather than the news guys though, anyone can have a good run for one season but doing it longterm is the only way to measure true success.

I'll be back in the action in about two more weeks but I don't have the time to make wagers since I'm in the process of moving to Denver. I would love to talk with you more about basketball in the future.
I've seen you in some other posts and you are a really respectable guy.
There are two types of people in this forum: those here to talk about basketball and those here to draw attention to themselves with BS threads. Just learn to distinguish between the two and you will generally find who's the winners and losers on the board.
Honestly, if you haven't bet NBA in a few years, I would recommend you take about a few weeks or a month to catch up on it and watching games objectively without betting on them. It will give you an unbiased perspective of what's going on. Keep watching until you get enough confidence to bet on it again. There are only a handful of good people in the NBA thread that actually know what they are talking about, so don't weigh anybody's input too heavily when making plays. Even the best go on losing streaks. Nobody can be a better capper than yourself if you put the time and energy into it. We need more leaders around here and not followers.

Those are probably the most consistent, long-term winners in here in the NBA. Good write-ups for most of us, reasoning behind picks, great stats for most teams. Just good info all around
