I think these overs look solid
PHI/SAC 231.5
BKN/DET 232.5
HOU/NO 220.5
you said you agreed Detroit was not good in the quote above.
Who are you agreeing with? I am leaning Detroit. Irving has an injury to his index finger.
You’re entitled to your own opinions. However you are not in agreement with me.

i agree they look good. However I’m concerned about Brooklyn vs Detroit. Not sure if Dennis plays. Also Irving index finger isn’t 100 percent and won’t be for a while according to Nash who experienced the same injury before. Brooklyn filling their roster spots with 3 defensive guys and/or rebounders concerns me as well. Only Pelle has played so far so I think I stay away from the total for now.

Well here’s my thoughts. You have a GS team depleted at the Center position. You have a SA team with their bigs Poeltl and Eubanks playing at a high level coming off a win. We have the possibility of two players returning for SA which gives them a complete roster. 2 players for SA had a double double and others were heating up. SA has home court advantage. Kerr restricts Currys minutes to 34-36 minutes per game and Popavich is one of the greatest coaches in the NBA so it’s hard to believe he loses under these circumstances. Kerr also stated himself he won’t be running Curry to the ground during a lost season. I’m not sure what he means by that sitting 9th but he obviously doesn’t have any championship expectations. All signs point towards a Spurs victory here.

Not sure if this is a good spot for Orlando. It’s a late game for Orlando while it’s 7pm in the west. These teams aren’t playing much defense of late either. Over looks really good here.

Don’t wanna take too much away from Sac and their recent victories. However I have noticed that many of their recent wins have come against teams they were in a better position schedule wise, or were banged up, or had fairly new coaches. Philadelphia comes in with Doc Rivers and the Sixers have plenty rest. I know they are not the greatest rode team but this should be taken into consideration. Simmons has been heating up lately and the Kings are facing a much bigger task. Literally.

Yeah this is the answer I was expecting, BOL SS!

Just wanted to add that Popavich is not just a great coach but he is a fantastic big man coach. What he’s done throughout his years with Robinson, Duncan, Aldridge, and what he’s doing with his newer guys is remarkable. I can only go back as far as David Robinson. If there’s anyone else lmk. I was born in 80.

Derrick White is out for rest. He had 2 points yesterday so not much of a concern. The Spurs are pretty deep at the guard positions.
Ill be back later fellas.
Share some insight on these player for player matchups. It will lead us to victory. I guarantee it.

*I have the EXACT three as well going north of numbers posted.
Hey good discussion going on Slap em. Miami and Knicks both defensive minded...leaning under, however books know what we know and likely already shaded us that way south of number in advance.
TNT games usually play to the TV crowd points points points - However caution on the Over Referees as noted by Tuck321 much respect for Tuck 321 and his information mining skills.
Lots of wise handicappers seem to tail through this thread
Thanks for opening up this GIANT vault of hidden gems hiding in untapped heads - Mr. Slap em...

I know Tuck321 has a good angle on these Overs due to his ref angle but imo I feel it has nothing to do with the refs. I can see the Sixers vs Sac going over due to speed and power mismatches, NO has averaged 120+ a game as I mentioned earlier when pointing out their power rankings so I agree there as well. What I don’t agree with is refs being in GS’s favor when GS is a public team and we all know where most dollars will be spent in terms of betting. I also like the Over in Detroit but think I’m in a safer spot just staying away due to Irving’s finger. So for the most part we do agree but I will never base my plays solely because of the refs. Other things must factor into my decision. It would be great if we compared starting lineups more as well as bench play and recent play and shared our thoughts here. That’s what my intentions were when making this thread. I’d like to cover as many angles possible in each matchup but of course it would be impossible for me to do it alone.

FYI I had bet Knicks plus 6.5 and teased them and bet over in Utah fairly hard. Now I am adding over when I saw a lot of smart people in Miami who picked it I think blind and when I read more info here at covers I am increased the Utah over by 50 percent. I might mention I went 0-3 on NBA totals yesterday but I would never have bet Suns under if I knew Chris Paul was out, Laker total was covering with 1 second left. The Washington total was gone at half time when the Bulls went 2-14 on 3s.
I am not crying over 1 bad day when for the most part I have been going very well but I want to make it clear I am trying to make good bets all the time

I will still be on the Spurs. Thanks for the info.

Detroit has allowed 119.3 on the road. However at home they’ve allowed 107.5. The difference of 11 plus points is largest in the league. Take that into consideration with Irving’s finger and the Nets filling up their roster spots with defensive stoppers and you have a lot pointing towards the under. Over should be a no play imo whether there are over refs or not. Just my thoughts fellas.

Philly has won 3 straight over Sacramento including a 17 pt win back in March. Phillys 125 points in that matchup were the most since 1985. Philly is also on a 3 game road win streak with two days of rest and has scored 118,119,118 in those 3 games.
Harris had a season high 12 reb and 6 asst last time out. He’s had 10+, 5+ games two straight for first time in career. Keep in mind he was a key factor in that win over Sacramento back in March.
Embiid has 30+ points in last 10 including two 40+ games.

Rose sat and ate dinner with Quickley and Toppin first thing. Rose began mentoring him immediately. Sounds like some good vibes with new teammates.
