Spurs pretty much gave him space to shoot daring him to hit 17 ftrs.If you showed that disrespect to MJ/Kobe they would drop 50 on your as ss, and rip your fuggin guts out.
What does LBJ do? Hesitates and pass to Mike Miller. Because all the fan boys know he makes his teamates better.
Front runner, stat padder, REGULAR season mvp. But when the chips is on the line, you need a big shot, you need your best player to step up and carry the team for a qrter or two, LBJ not even close. This guy needed to form a so called super team to win one ring.
So please kids, nut huggin fans. NO MORE LBJ IS BETTER THAN...He is what he is. Just a good baller not one of the Greats.

Team player dont mean shieet. I rather have a Player who KNOWS he is the big dog on the court and knows the he has the skills to rip the fuk out of anybody who guards him, and who WANTS to take the SHOTS when down or game on the line.
Jordan was the same shi t. I could remember reading somewhere he would freeze out Hodges because he kept fukin up. Or yell at Paxson for not getting him the ball.
Da fuk you talkin about prime Jordan is a team player? Prime Jordan was 100 x worse than Kobe. Shieet he use to throw BJ armstrong under the bus all the time. How oldare you? You even see him play?
How many games Lakers played healthy together?
Hahaha, PREACHHHH! damn it's like you rip this shizz outta my mind! Jordan used ice out guys if they miss couple shots and take it himself! Lebron pass to a icy cold Bosh who miss 4 straight shots with the game on the line! Lmao! Get the fawk outta here with that dik riding Lebron shizz

Kobe may be an all time great, but there r several of those. He will never be up there w jordan unless or until he loses the me at all costs attitude. In my view his one on one talent is better than jordan, but its almost to his detriment . They both have the clutch gene and competiveness. The problem is the team concept. I never recall jordan throwing up an air ball at crunch time w three guys on him. Kobe does it often. Kobes teammates also resent him cuz of it.
On the last three yrs, in the dallas series la was signicant favorite and more talent. They had double digit lead in second half of game 1 and completely folded. They basically then folded and were not competitive in the series. That never happened to MJ. This yr kobe went around bragging bout how they were going to win w nash and howard but they never meshed. U say coaching r u saying kobe cant win without phil
That is your best argument...an air ball. How many times has MJ throw up a horse shot against three players and made it? Kobe does it on a regular basis. MJ's best moments were 1 on 1 against the likes of Craig Ehlo and Byron Russell. The best team that Jordan ever beat in the finals was a Utah team whose third best player was Jeff Hornacek...I mean really. People tend to forget that it was not Kobe's fault that the Lakers did not keep winning in the early 2000's. It was Shaquille O'neal. He did not hae the same dedication to the game that Kobe has. So they butted heads, and stop winning because of it. The same thing would have happened with MJ if he had played with Shaq, because he's just as much the competitor as Kobe. That is one thing people overlook. Although, Michael never played with very skilled big men, the one thing they all had was desire to win. He didn't have to harp on them every day about not being in shape. We also seem to not remember that Michael had tons of talent around him. Scottie is the most underrated player in NBA history. He averaged 22 ppg, shot 49% from the floor, led his team in scoring, assists, steals, blocks(2nd in league), 2nd in rebounds the year Jordan didn't play. He helped Chicago win 55 games that year(without MJ), only 2 fewer than the year before with MJ. People forget about him, which is a travesty. He is the greatest on ball defender ever, from any where on the court.

Good point on Utah. Except, as usual, u dont address the weaknesses of yur guy. Kobe on the first 3 chips rode the coattails of the most dominant center in history( maybe not over his career but over an 8 yr period). More importantly, who did they beat those years. NJ twice and Philly. Those Utah teams would have swept either of those teams, which r two of the worst championship teams in history. I agree w yur point on Pippen.

And I agree with what you said about Philly, and NJ for the most part. The difference is the team that the Lakers had to beat just to get there. The Kings of those years, were probably the best team never to win a title, so that is a hurdle. Also Shaq was not the most dominant big man of all time...why? Because he had no real low post moves other than bullying you over, and also because he could not shoot free throws. Either way, I am a Kobe fan through and through, but I'm not one of those who say Kobe is just as good as MJ. Michael did some things better, like taking the ball to the rim, playing defense, and also being a team leader early in his career. Kobe did some things better like hitting contested no one else in basketball history shots, and also the three point ball. Kobe also tried to be a leader, but when you come straight out of high school, it is hard to get people to follow you. Plus Shaq wanted to be the man, yet he wanted to come in every year out of shape. Overall, I still give the nudge to MJ. Here's my top 5. 1. Russell I don't care what people tell me about lack of scoring, or not being a great shooter, he dominated his era. Wilt was so much bigger, yet Russell never lost to him. 2.Magic If it was not for the Boston Celtics, and Larry Bird, Magic would have at least 7 or 8 rings. 3. MJ The greatest ever at getting to the rim, and drawing contact. Also perfected DR's moves and made them better than ever. He could single handed take on 5 guys, because of his wicked movements at the rim. 4.Kobe The greatest shot maker, and arguably the greatest pure offensive player in the history of the league. 5.Bird/Duncan(if Duncan wins the title this year he will be alone at 5)

At this point, it's better off LeChoke passes the ball instead of throwing up a LeBrick. But he should consider driving the lane regardless of how many Spurs are packing that paint. At least he can draw some fouls and go to the free throw line. Get him some easy points from the free throw line and just maaaaaybe, he'll get his mid range jumper back. Either way, itz not gunna matter how he plays cause he alone can't beat the Spurs. His ... or Justin Beiber's Miami Heat ain't got the support cast to pull it off this Finals. Spurs in game 6.

james has the capability to be better then mj and kobe if he has kobe and mj mentality and had a midrange game. james doesnt do well when pressure. thats why he wont be near mj or kobe. mj was a smarter player. kobe do ball hogs and dont pass when he should. but atleast he learned that this season when hes older now. tho mj is a better player then kobe and james. but talent wise and all around skillful players..that would be kobe. kobe can simply make shots from anywhere and takes the toughest shots the nba has seen and makes them in every game. kobe is the funnest player to watch in his prime then mj and james. tho i do admit i dont remember much of mj's era growing but so i just watch his games online. and he isnt as exciting to watch compared to kobe in his prime.

from the time Shaq left until Gasol arrived how many playoff series did the Lakers win ?
how many rings did james win before they built a dream team around him? How many did mj win without scottie? That argument is way over used. No one player has ever won the championship without a good team around.

Everybodies talking about pass player or soon to be passed player. Labron is a great player hands down, cut the guy some slack. He's accomplished a lot in is career and still has a long way to go. So what said, when his career comes to a end rack him then. Because in my book the guy is the best player in the league TODAY.

Shut the Fvck up you don't know sh!t about b-ball.
LBJ is called a phenom since his youth, and plays under a LOT of pressure.
Jordan emerged as a Star thru his career, and the league was not close of what it is now in term of speed and talent.
In term of athleticism, LBJ > Jordan
And so you know, LBJ is pretty pretty young and has a LOT of time to win as much championship as Jordan did.

Im so sick of multiple people on tv, analysts, commentators, many people calling this guy the best player on the planet its disgusting. One thing people dont realize about many sports is that its more mental than physical and in the mental department as far as heart, will, and desire he's closer to the worst player in the league than the best.

if you are going to criticize at least get the facts right. they beat the pacers, sixers, and nets. although the nets did make it to the finals twice, they did not play the lakers both times.

It matters whether kobe takes the shot cuz hes going to take the shot regardless. While he is so talented hell make a few, w three people guarding him he aint going to get off a good shot. Hence the 25% shooting % in last minute w game on line. Game 6 against okc 2010 kobe throws up airball and metta has to bail him. MJ would have never been put in that position

No need to get in an in depth argument. It's simple, if you think LeBron > Kobe, your knowledge of basketball is driven by something other than reality, probably media driven.. and you definitely shouldn't be sports betting.. since you obviously dont have a clue..
