thats the problem with calf strains. you could play on it sore, not realizing its putting so much pressure on other points. kd also had a calf strain before tearing achilles.

Once it started at the Ankle then went to Calf .They shouldve shut him down

 I’ve tore my Achilles I beg to differ he went out on his sword I have mad respect for Hali. You play 82+ games and going to quit in championship? No chance.

Yep, exact same story as KD. Organization  knows the risk but doesn't care. Doctors will say anything for the money. Dude wants to look like a competitor not a quitter, so he goes. Ruin a man's career. Sad Fn world that acts like that.

They said if it were the reg season he'd have been out a month. So you risk his career by playing him for one game?  This was bound to happen.

Hell bounce back. KD still playing and Hali much younger. Some people never win a championship I think you definitely risk this injury to win, he’s not LeBron and guaranteed to make championships.

His chances of winning this game alone were slim to begin with. Now he's got to rehab from an Achilles which means hes out for the next year. Kyrie and Tatum in the same situation. None of them may never be the same player.  Look what happened to Klay Thompson.

no, Pacers know what they have to do. Anytime a major player for a team goes down, it's usually the opposite of what's supposed to happen. Other role players step up, and I have full confidence in Rick Carlisle in coaching this team, and it will go down to the wire. Pacers + 7
