What is the problem here? New pieces don't have chemistry yet? Or is it something else?
Boston fan, just wondering what you guys think.
They will be fine for many reasons:
1. KG, Pierce, and Rondo are generally not fast starters but good finishers (they play their worst basketball beginning of the season)
2. What makes the Celtics stand out from other teams is their defense, watching this game against philly there are a lot of breakdowns and it is mainly the new guys who are still not comfortable with the sets.
3. Its the same situation on the offensive end, they look stagnant because the chemistry is not there yet (especially with terry and green who seem confused at times imo)
Speaking specifically on tonights game, Rondo looks so disinterested and he just stand on top of the key dribbling it out until he throws an obvious pass (when hes playing on national TV or against good teams, hes constantly driving and causing havoc), this is something Rivers has to talk to him about...
But I wouldnt worry, this is their most talented squad since 08, its really a matter of chemistry and rivers will take care of that.
