Why is it that teams are good one minute then can't score the next? I'm new to baseball.
ever played the game? Weird stuff happens that’s unexplainable.

Always wondered which sports has the most luck element in it
I think even though football season is short, has least luck element
soccer is same, good team finishes at top at end of season
betting and winning on nba is toughest but I think nba has less luck element too, unless injuries
now with and without injuries, most luck elements goes to either hockey or baseball, I'll give edge to baseball. sure one man can change game in hockey too, but you score 1 goal in hockey. you have bases loaded, grand slam and game is gone in baseball
baseball is hardest to cap, but playing dogs, I think player has the most edge against books in long run

Or, you have bases loaded, no outs, and don't score. A lot of possibilities in baseball that don't coordinate with probability. Neither the grand slam or scoreless inning is the probability, but both happen.

@KeyElement
so true and + 4 or - couple runs they make a very big difference, especially now with 7 inning doubleheaders or man on 2nd base in extra

Yeah i agree with all the above when it comes to baseball you need more luck than in other sports. You cant cap if the ss is going to commit an error in the 7th that allow 2 runs to score. You cant cap if the guy batting 200 with no homers hits 1 just right and all the sudden he just hit a 3 run jack. With that being said i still love betting on baseball.

The simple answer is: bad players. It’s a disgrace having guys in starting lineups all over MLB who can’t even hit .200 or are barely above that.

yeah, I'd say lack of execution... fundamentals...
At least in baseball, it's ultimately pitcher vs batter...
NFL, game of inches... holding happens on near every play... the hand fighting between WR and Corner... so many elements...
Good debate could be had over this topic...
