Hello there: I don’t know how long it will last because we are having a wonderful time, but at least for today I am caught up and there are a couple I like. I have also adjusted my play level to reflect recent success.
$280 Pirates, FG Run line, -1.5, +140 (Liriano/Hudson)
$280 Athletics, -107 (Gray/Sanchez)
Pirates: This one plays right into the hands of the Pirates with Liriano showing me 93.5 cents of line value over Hudson and the Pirates showing better run production versus righty than lefty. It makes little difference to the Giants because they really aren’t scaring anyone with their bats lately anyway.
Athletics: Facing Sonny Gray is not one of the best hitter’s jobs in baseball this year. With a 10-1 h2h rating and 8-3 in quality starts, he dwarfs Sanchez, 5-6 and 5-6. The A’s also seem to have found their bats again and bring a slightly higher run production probability than do the Tigers, and it is anyone’s guess when they will find their bats again. 71 cents of line value on the pitching alone and a slightly higher offensive probability is plenty of margin to play this one.
