Looking at the advanced stats, Vargas has been impressive in June (3.34 FIP and 3.93 xFIP. with opp BA @ .194)
Mosocoso has one of the more interesting stat profile. Here are some highlights. He's bad against lefties. He has a fantastic ERA but horrid 5+ FIP and xFIP numbers. Is an extreme flyball pitcher. To my surprise, opponents are only hitting .198 against him with a .200 BABIP. In June, his FB% was up but his LD% down down from May. He has been significantly better at home. Can struggle with his control. Keep in mind this all comes from a fairly small sample size at only 43 innings this year. The guy does look like he was dominant in the minors and possesses some nasty stuff.
Might not be many hits or runs in this game and the under H+R+E total may be worth a look especially if there are any angles to take on the offensive side. Anybody got anything? Teams are pretty weak overall in that department.
Definitely will be looking further into this game tomorrow.

I'm baffled by this total being at 9 (I thought it would be MUCH lower). Sure.. The Royals have been killing right-handers lately but Jackson has been pretty good this year especially at home by looking at his advanced stats. The White Sox struggle against southpaws and Chen has been pretty spectacular in the months of May and June. FIPs of 2.37 and 2.03 respectively.

Liriano is a much better pitcher than Davis. Public is all over the Rays for some reason which is why we are seeing the line move imo. I'm taking the discounted price for some early action today

Can't find much reason not to take the under here. Hughes and the Yanks swear he is healthy and Masterson can be tough to score off of. Hughes is really good if he is indeed healthy. Under is 11-3-1 in NYY last 15 road games Under is 7-2-1 in CLE last 10 home games

I'm gonna take another shot on the Marlins. Looking for Animal Sanchez to bounce back after his last outing in Arlington. He is really good against Lefties (important when facing Philly) and he is much better than Kendrick imo. Public is backing Philly still though at an alarming rate and the line moving in reverse
