PLAY White Sox @ Tampa Bay OVER 7.0 (Every way you can)
Made a big play this Saturday morning on my favorite total of the month in the AL. In all my times posting at covers, my record in these games speak for themselves (go check my back logged posts.)
Anyway, what makes this play particularly exciting for me, is that it uses my favorite angle when picking overs....and that is when a starting pitcher had a great outing last start, but it greatly over-worked & tired.
This game has two pitchers that meet that criteria as well as a low total to boot at 7. By the time this is over, both teams will have 7 of their own.
C. Sale going for the WSOX has been dynamite lately, problem is he has pitched to the point that no human being can be expected to go to. Last 5 starts he has tossed 576 pitches, including 123 in his last outing. Truth was the Sox could have Yanked him earlier in the game, but he was going so well, they wanted to boast his numbers to buffer his trade value. The same will be true today, as the WSOX fading season have put them in position of Seller, and Sale is quite coveted in the market. Unfortunately, all the math and data I have says that he returns to earth today and blows up after 50 or so pitches.
Similar story with M. Moore, over 320 his last three, while pitching more and more innings each game. The math doesn't lie, he will crumble today, probably around the time the announcers call for a pitching dual today.

White Sox are just flailing away. If they hit it hard, fine. If not (which happens 90% of the time) , the game will just get over with faster, which is what seems to be their mission.

when they had runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out early in the game as they trailed 2-0 with matt moore pitching like crap and rios smashed the ball, but right at longoria to double off deaza on 3rd, I thought right there that this over may be dead. Absolutely nothing has happened since.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

deaza with another lazy swinging strikeout, i'm on this but all ya can do is laugh....while I do find spots to bet on the white sox here and there I never bet the over in their games and this is a stark reminder of why to never to do that
