Los Angeles Dodgers (-105)
Pretty interesting Monday matchup here. You have a Dodger team that is really struggling on their currrent roadtrip (currently 1-5), and you have the Giants who are coming off a completely nuts series in Oakland, where all 3 games were physically and mentally draining. You have a pitching match-up featuring a kid who has been nearly flawless in his five starts, yet he sits 0-3 (team 0-5) in Nathan Eovaldi. The Dodgers just don't score for him. Averaging 1.0 runs a ballgame with him on the bump. You have Barry Zito on the other side. June has not been kind to Barry. An ERA over 10, and WHIP over 2. That good start is now a distant memory. Somethings gotta give. At some point the Dodgers are going give Eovaldi some support. I don't see any better time than tonight against Zito, who has just been Godawful lately. If Eovaldi is half as sharp tonight as he has been so far this season I see no reason why the Dodgers can't win a 6-3 type ballgame. I don't even want a sweat here. Dodgers need to handle Zito, grab an early lead, and cruise to the finish.
