Yes I have said it before. I think maybe there is a pitching advantage in early games. Maybe the early start also leaves batters not as wide awake. Since pitching already has advantage as only great Hitters will hit  only 1-3 I think maybe it relates. Who knows.

Hitters stay out late at the bars and clubs, hence not much rest and sluggish in the early day games.
