Me and 7 buddies going to ballgame in Aug, Where are some good spots to stay. We are only staying for one night, and kinda would like to be near, or a easy ride on the subway to the game.
Thanks

Forget about the Cask, that is where the pink hats reside. Fanuiel Hall is for tourists, or pretty good when the C's or B's are playing at the Garden.
If you are just looking to hang and have a good time hit up the Pour House on Boyleston St which is kind of a local dive bar, but a nice one, cheap beer, decent pub food, good crowd, close to Fenway.
If you are looking for ladies and are between 27-35 hit up 7's in Beacon Hill, then around 11 venture around the corner to Harvard Gardens. If you are 26 or younger just down the road from 7's in Beacon Hill you will find Beacon Hill Pub which is a little younger crowd, both are can't miss.
