The Jim Harbaugh show kicks off in the Beehive State and the colonel will certainly be making a play on this one. Golden Nugget has made the Utes a 5 point fav  Confusious says, Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure. I can attest to that  Time to get to work.

Since I'm never crazy about betting the Utes as a home fav, I'll lose my money on the Wolverines to keep this one close.

Harbaugh has a veteran offensive line with good skill position starters.
The defense with more than 1/2 the starters back-:)

Harbaugh is the real deal. Was a good competitor in college and the pro's. Comes from a football family and had several great coaches as mentors during his playing career. Has been a successful coach where ever he's been. You are right 1969 I don't think Michigan will win the Big 10 much less win this game. But I think this is Harbaugh's first game at his old alma mater and he will have his team motivated. The Wolverines will battle for four quarters and keep the game with in 3-4 points. May the bird of paradise fly up your nose. GLTA!

This Michigan team should not be undersold.....I will ride them early until they prove unworthy.  Jim should make a serious emotionl impact in the early part of the season I suspect.  They might not win this game, but they will play with them if they don't win this.  I do really like the under even more here though.

Maybe I'm over zealous 1969, probably shouldn't get to fired up to early, but I do agree with the above MICHIGAN supporters

Really see this game as a 3 point game tightly played.  Harbaugh has better players his first year at Michigan than he did to start at Stanford. Also his players will play hard for him and this being first game back coaching his old school. Might even be an overtime game but right know if I can get 5 or 6 points then Michigan as the Dog is the right play to me.Not sold on Utah as team that will roll Michigan and see Low scoring game.  BOL on whatever ya Play...Hammer em...

Yep, worthless. 12-3 in the 2000's vs Michigan and defending National Champs.

All I'm saying is that Michigan has been through this turnover before, and turn on their HC at an instant. Harbaugh will be no exception. They'll want his head by year 3.

No worries though, OSU has two WRs that are better QBs than anyone at Michigan. But yes, we're nervous as hell over here in Columbus

There is a ton of value here with Utah -5.5......The public is all over Michigan and with good reason.....Michigan received a ton of positive press throughout the offseason with the hiring of Hardbaugh...He is indeed a great coach and everybody knows this...A lot of casual CF bettors are banking on Hardbaugh turning this team around in one offseason, without even taking the field in one game. His first 2 seasons at Stanford he was 9 - 15......Give him at least a half season.
Just as Michigan gets a ton of press, Utah gets very little......They are not a sexy team to follow and somewhat new to a major CONF having joined the PAC 12 a few years ago....Majority of casual bettors who are betting on Michigan are doing so because of Michigans reputation but mostly they are betting on Hardbaugh....They probably do not know that Utah beat Stanford, UCLA and USC last season....Some dont know that Utah actually beat Michigan 26-10 at MICH. last season...They dont know how good Utah's defense is and dont know that they are brining back 8 starters on each side of the ball and will be just as strong or stronger this season...They may not know  the PAC 12 is much stronger than the Big 10 as a whole.(We all know how good OHST is) They may not even know that MICH was a 5 win Big 10 team and Utah won 8 games against a much tougher schedule...With 60% of the action being placed on Michigan this line may drop even further down, I have bet it large at -5.5 but hoping it may drom to 4 to bet it again. The sharps will no doubt bet the helll out of this game before kick off driving the line up close to 7 I believe.

MIKEMED is correct on his assessment for this game and has convinced me that UTAH will cover with the fact they are building on a good season with quality player's while MICH will still be going through transition pains.

Agree with MikeMed as well. Close for 3 Quarters then Utah wins by 7-10pts.....

U46.5--Man, it is tough to make this call but Michigan's D is probably ahead of its offense. Harbaugh is going to run the football. We've seen Utah be really tough on teams at altitude. Not a lot of touchdowns in this one.
