Weather game time(7:00 to11:00) - Temp 30 wind 10mph west Flurries.
  Ball St 45 No Illinois 14          Ball St 31 Toledo 0
  C M     33 No Illinois 30          C M     24 Toledo 23
 When you break this game down with all the offense and defense numbers  average points for and against ect... Ball ST comes away with a clear 12 point edge. The only way they don't cover is if their qb gets injuried or they come out flat and C M comes out super charged. I am going to take my chance with the qb staying in the game and Ball St coming to play tonight!

Didn't get down in time last night forgot it was a 7.00 tilt actually saved myself a few bucks on what I posted maybe I'll forget tonights game goes early too

im hoping the big play making ability of miquale lewis produces a late cover.  cm will put up points, but i dont know if their D will be able to handle ball st offense.  i thought about buying the hook, but ill just ride ball st -7

Allow me to clarify, the line opened in August with CMU being -2 at home for this game, in all actuality. However it re opened at anywheres from +6 - +7.

 Central Michigan has been squeaking by very suspect competition all season long, home or away.  Make no mistake about it, Ball St. is on a mission and will expose a very average and over rated C. Mich team.  Ball State has the better offense and most importantly a vastly underrated defense.  I got a feeling fellas Ball State takes whats theirs and eventually puts the hammer down on C. Mich. 

Biffs sports almanac says Ball State -7

I'm not really sure which way to lean on this game...may look at teasering it with tomorrows game and taking CMU +14...

I did give out my late NBA game last night with Golden St. as I said they would win outright by 6, they won by 5 actually. Hope peeps that lost on the NCAA FB got it back with that.

I have not yet made a decision on my play yet, but like someone mentioned earlier...this will be a good MAC game...How often do you say that? I've been impressed with Ball State all year and to see how Dan LaFevour played last week at NIU was really impressive. This kid makes things happen.

 

If Ball State can hold LaFevour to half of what he is capable then Ball State can cover this game. It's not too often that one guy can make or break a team but as LaFevour goes, so goes the Chips.

Time to Parlay the over winnings from last might right into the OVER for tonight as MAC teams do not play any 2nd half DEFENSE...

As for a team the home doggy always deserves the utmost respect. I have seen Ball St play 3 weeks in a row and they are not world beaters.... CMU +7

I don't see Ball State slowing down, if anything, they ratchet it up and put on a show for a national audience....and don't forget the revenge factor from last year when CMU pasted them.

dds makers originally opened the line with the chips being 2 point favorites back in August, there was a line created for this game. I looked it up a couple times, doesnt mean im right , however Im pretty sure im not wrong...

heres my pick for tonight;
 
I see this game on the outside looks like CMU should cover, as they have played favorably against Ball St. pretty well in the past. However this isnt the past and things are different and alot has happened as Fpronk pointed out since August. CMU was recently getting 4 points from NIU and barely beat them. Ball State recently played NIU and gave them 7 points and covered. Same thing with the Toldeo game when they both played them the line differentials betwen these two have been fairly different with Ball St. covering the stronger line by laying almost double the points to the same opponents and covering for the majority. Ball St. Comes out tonight to Kelly- Shorts Stadium in Mt. Pleasant and comes out with the cover, I believe it will be a low scoring game, with a spectator index of 1 making it a miserable game to not only watch in person weather wise, but also to play in. If ball St loses a game this isnt the one for them to lose. Line movement suggests to me at 6.5 right now that they are trying to draw CMU bettors, I will not take that bait. My play is Ball St. comming to town and leaving with thier balls intact!!   5 units -6.5 Ball ST

I know the game is several hours away but local weather calls for 30% chance of precipitation but winds anywhere between 9 and 14 mph and gusts up to 22 mph. Just something to keep an eye on when betting the total.

Thinking about taking the points here, With the exception of GA, WMU has played everyone close  (APF 28.7, APA 28.2)....Last week they scared me letting NIU get back into it late, but will take the home team in a high pressure game for Ball State
