I have a good steak dinner on the line with some friends tonight.
Line is Alabama -54.
Will Saban run the score up?? Any thoughts from this group of experts?

Not on the board. Opened at -54. Game taken off the board.
Saban does not run up the score - I looked at last 2 years - likes to work on running game. Passing game only on 3rd downs. See Bama / Chattanooga 45-0 last year (30+ rushes and 10 passes on offense).
I am just wagering amongst some friends....loser buys dinner.

Will Alabama look at the contest as a game or a scrimmage? A chance to look at lots of players. You know Georgia St depth is razor thin.Probably just use time consuming running plays.

Lots of running plays with no razzle dazzle and using all the time allowed between plays should hold the score down. But Geo St fumbles and pass interceptions have to be factored in. Can't tell your guys not to score.

Nice trade off. Ga St gets their butts kicked and the school athletic budget adds about $100,000 or more to the bottom line. Smaller schools like those packed stadiums at the bigger schools.

Its a good break to get ready for Auburn and its a favor for Coach Curry to help build the program. This program could grow fast in Atlanta. I could see them being D1 at some point (10-15 years).

I guess when you play 12 games you try to schedule a "breather" along the way.
Florida St- Samford Iowa- Eastern Illinois
LSU- MCNeese Stanford-Sacramento St
and others. Easy money both ways.
