Sorry guys-I don't think my Beavers were napping--they have a QB controversy, horrendous secondary, and a coach that seems to have lost his fire for the game.
I watched that Sac St debacle--had we run the ball 60 times the result would have been far better. Watch how soft the DB's play, 10 yards are a given, and if a pass goes over the top, multiple faceguarding PI's...it's going to be a long season.
Plus travel, and 9:00 AM start Pacific time--I'm just glad it will be over early so I can get some stuff done on Saturday. However, if we win, I'll be back to take credit just like so many Covers are wont to do!
Quoting myself--Agnew (frosh RB) ran for 233 last week, now is likely out for OSU, hamstring.
And from today's Oregonian: Something interesting happened about 55 minutes into practice, when Riley gathered the entire team in a big circle and proceded to ream the players out for being sluggish and perhaps still feeling a bit sorry for themselves. Whether this was actually the case, I don’t know, but Riley was YELLING (a rarity) and he said if guys had their “tail between their legs’’ after what happened against Sac State, they could just get off the field. Nobody moved, but the message sunk in. It was much louder the rest of the morning.

Been following your thread, was specifically interested in your TCU thoughts. Thought you might find this interesting..I'm in a pool of about 110 people, pick any 10 games ATS every week, one game worth 3 points. Picks just came out, 40 people have TCU, 10 as their 3 point play. 1 person has Air Force...
