Haven't posted much since I joined Covers but I have read/used a LOT of info posted in this forum and combined that with my own opinions and research. Thought I would gauge opinions, if you were going for your 17th straight this week, which game would pick?
The first game that jumped out at me was Memphis -7. Cincy has scored 19 points total the last three games, but I can't talk myself into backing a horrible Memphis defense in a road game.
The one game I would play, hands down, is Utah -12 but it isn't currently available to select.
That leaves me with two possibilities, but I'm open to suggestions. Looking at Stanford -10.5 or USC -10.5. As for Tree, I see plenty of similarities as their matchup against Oregon which they obviously dominated. With USC I see two teams going the opposite direction and Trojans staying focused vs a UCLA team that has to be down, especially without Rosen.
Let the opinions out of the bag, I need as many variables as possible for a winning formula this week!

Doesn't 17 win u a grand? If so just hedge. It's a free contest so find the matchup u like and bet 700 at a sportsbook on one side and the other side is your streak pick

Thank you sir! After much deliberation decided to go with Scalabrine's pick this week. SDSU -10!
I hope to bring this home for you. 17 in a row is incredible! I really think we have a superb team here. If Wyoming did not beat Boise earlier in the year this pick wouldn't exist but for them to pull off two major upsets at home over ((what is essentially) ranked teams? No. And the spread is not ideal but is very reasonable.

NMATE I almost pulled the trigger on Navy but if I'm picking a road team, I want a good defense. I'd definitely lean Navy to cover but I like my chances better with SDSU's defense.
SCAL thanks for the encouragement, I didn't want to spend all week stressing about this and your capping certainly helps. I'm not necessarily stressed about the $1000, it's getting to 21 that freaks me out! Have to keep telling myself that I've come this far and there's no reason to stop trusting my instincts now.

The support is greatly appreciated! Everybody needs to send those positive vibes to SDSU on Saturday! I've never meditated but I might sit on the floor, close my eyes and envision victory. Unfortunately I seriously won't be able to watch because I just switched from ATT Uverse to PS Vue and they don't carry CBSSN at this time.

Brian I'm with you, but for my survivor pick it ultimately came down to UCLA's ability to keep games close. I don't know how much the rivalry game angle will come into play, I don't consider it a true road game for SC, and I think the Trojans are hitting on all cylinders without being overconfident. Those are all reasons I almost went with USC, just couldn't pull the trigger, will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Ahh that sucks when you don't pull the trigger on a game you like. More so when it would've netted you $1000. Oh well, go Aztecs!
