Totally agree with New Mexico -5 vs Hawaii.  I had that as one of my top plays this week when I saw the line come out.  With Hawaii, they always play teams tough in the beginning of the year because their 1st stringers on D are tough and pretty good players.  As they start playing a few games and in this case some of the top teams in the nation, they start getting beaten down and guys go down to injury like a lot of teams.  Hawaii's problem is that there is a huge drop off to the 2nd tier.  Having a struggling offense that keeps the Hawaii D on the field so much just compounds the problem.  New Mexico which has a good offense will further expose Hawaii's depth problem.

I have followed Train for the longest time! A little crazy at times but compelled me to finally take the time (about 30 seconds) and make my own account on here!

my book already went up to -6 before i could lock in.
Train, you ok with -6 or buy the half point at -120?

Aside from their 1st game of the season, Hawaii has been beyond awful. I am not sure if many are aware, but in their 3 road games this year, the Rainbows have been beat 121-0 . That is not a typo. Taking out the UC Davis game, they have scored 42 points THE ENTIRE SEASON. Now, I'm not saying NM is Ohio St, Wisconsin or Boise St. However, they can pound the rock and play somewhat decent defense. Add to this, the Hawaii travel fatigue. Since the Sept 12 game @ Ohio St, they have flown back home, then back all the way to Wisconsin, then to Utah (Boise St), then back home and now flying to NM. That a lot of miles in a month, especially when you are getting completely thrashed....Also, this is an evening/night game. Possible rain. Supposed to be a high of 65....but, once that sun goes down it should be about 50. Not a huge difference, but when you are used to 80 and sunny and all you can think about is getting back on the plane...bad combo....Hawaii does, however, break their road scoreless steak..... . NM currently stands at 3-3, and this game is an absolute must if they want a chance at going to a bowl game....

Just glanced over an injury report for a few match ups. Anyone see where Wyoming has 5 out on defense due to concussions and 2 other injuries...all stemming from the game last week against Air Force. They're already bad enough on D but possibly missing 7 people is a big deal. I'm pushing some dinero on Nevada -7...BOL gents
