Liking Miami -3
This a great, detailed, thread. You seem to have quite a bit of knowledge about Barrow, LSU D, even Miami. How many games do you breakdown for a typical weekend? Do you favor a certain conference? Are you sure not a robot?

I think you are overvaluing LSU defensively. Yes they do have talent, they always do on that side of the ball, but this is set to be another year where the offense will likely struggle even more than it did a year ago and that will call on the defense to play far more snaps than they should. Give me Miami -3 as I can't see them holding the Canes under 21 and I don't think LSU can score more than 17.

I don't think you understood my comment, I never even used the word overrated. I think you are "overvaluing" the LSU defense in terms of your evaluation of their impact on a game especially one where they will likely be on the field more frequently than the LSU offense.

J-dub, this Barrow guy is "Urban-approved" and by graduating in three years, qualified as a graduate transfer (free agent status, if you will) to sign with ANY team he wanted to. He chose LSU.
I've got this team OVER 7 wins at even money, so, okay, I'm prejudiced............guilty.

I like LSU; after watching, and picking Miami in bowl game against Wisconsin, and seeing them implode, I think LSU's depth of talent is too much for Miami. Miami still has more to do in recruiting the type of talent they once had; whereas, LSU is loaded.
