Texas preseason SP+ rankings look eerily like the Buckeyes to start 2024 (25th Off/2nd Def) BUT I didn't like how Texas managed their offense which shocked me at times last year with a coach who was a great OC......
So for me, it leaves the door open for a surprise team to win it all unless Sarkisian pushes the risk button a little more on offense.... how in the hell does he leave behemoth Arch with his Tebow like physicality on the bench when Quinn got the yips throwing the ball??? Arch has a very good arm and we will see that this year among other attributes, but I don't think it will be enough to win it all UNLESS, they get punched in the mouth and learn to be creative as a result and feisty like the Buckeyes learned themselves toward the end of the season.
Will Knowles the god of defense, weave his magic for Penn St who seemed to allow other good teams to move on them when the chips were down and this put a lot of pressure on Allar to throw or the offensive line to open holes for the two bulldozers they had at RB but neither of those 2 answers could come when the defense for the No Names allowed a good team to put points on the board ......maybe KNOWLES gives the wall feeling that the Buckeyes developed for the Playoffs and that gave their offense the shot in the arm to just produce not under duress to match previous drives that were successful from their opponents
Allar 3rd yr, lots of returning plays, 2 great RBs returning, great DC taking over....lots of transfer talent and freshman....good speed and improved receiving corps. Dare I dream that Penn St wins it all this year? I think this team is a final 4 contender again and maybe CHAMPS if their defense builds that wall mentality when they need it most late in the game.
I watched too many games turn on their heads after a first half lead vs a top opponent so I would change things up in the locker room at half....let KNOWLES speak .....maybe decide to take the ball in first half on every coinflip and let the defense start with anger vs their opponents in the 2nd half....I don't know, but do something different FRANKLIN!!! 
Quietly, I can feel Kirby simmering a strong and hungry team down in Georgia so the Big 10 best better be ready!

I really like this Boise team with the way their defense played last year and improved....apparently, they might be even better this year and they have a Top 15 offense according to SP+.... might see them back in PLAYOFFS

-find it hard to believe the S. Florida defense will stop Boise excellent blocking, run schemes and strong QB Maddux returning so yes USF (45 OFF/105 DEF) can hang offensively but not every drive and I expect Boise to score something on most drives
-is this line too easy?
Still mulling other lines ..... but probably going to bet light for the first couple of weeks
And yup on Kirby! 
I am showing this because I am being more methodical this year in the first couple of weeks....and feel I need to see some improvement in teams, especially offense if I am going to buy into some faves going forward.
