When you look at resumes you see a bunch of ugly wins for Wisconsin, that's why they won't get in. And beating Nebraska or Lsu. Is no real accomplishment seeing as they both ended up as above average trash teams. Lsu better than Nebraska. But you look at the big 10. The big ten sets offense back 10 years with how bad all the offenses are in that conference.

its a quality win if you beat them when they were #4 in the nation ....why not?.....if a team loses its next twelve games there probably are reasons....mostly injuries and suspensions... but these reasons are why a teams record will worsen as the season progresses..and teams playing them at a later date wont get quality wins if they beat them.......but if you beat a team when they are at full strength and highly ranked it sure as hell means something and is a QULITY WIN!!!

so if somebody beat Alabama a few weeks ago  and then Alabama suspended twenty players and they lost five startersdue to injury.......that team that beat Alabama before the injuries and suspensions would not get credit for a quality win????

this is what you are saying!!!!!

The LSU win for Wisky was a good win- LSU is a very tough team with a great defense- If they had any kind of QB then they would be undefeated- Their defense is second only to Bama- I agree that if Washington wins out then they are in-

If you get a chance to wager on it you might be sweating for a good part of the game. Colorado is a little immature and would have a flat start because of the big game environment. Their defense is a little underrated in my opinion. It would be a fun game to watch. I would be surprised if Colorado wasn't dog in that matchup.

Baders & Destroy should never go together.  That Big 10 offense is mighty scary.

Didn't SUPER $HITTY Georgia State have Wisconsin on the ropes? If they make the playoffs as a 4 seed they will lose by 28+ points to Bama. Could probably say that about whoever is the 4 seed though. F Bama

You obviously don't watch a shred of College football junior. Who is their signature win against? Please don't say LSUIowa?

Georgia State almost beat the Badgers.

my last comment on this thread....if the badgers win on Saturday , they are IN the PLAYOFFS.......100% sure of that....there is no way in hell a pac12 can get in.....unless Clemson loses....that is the ONLY WAY wash or Colorado has the most remote chance.....

it will be     ALABAMA       CLEMSON (if they win).....OHIO STATE......WISCONSIN (if they win)

if penn state wins then it will be a toss up between wahington and penn state....but pac12 football takes a back seat  in this years playoff.....they would have four or five losses if they played in a real conference like the big ten or the sec.....pac12 conference is for pussies!!!!

Not so fast.  Because #9 #10 and #11 would argue they should be in.

Can we please briefly discuss how PSU can make it into the playoffs?  I have them at 100:1 and see this past weekend only dropped them to 60:1.

1.) Beat Wisconsin
what else....

I make Michigan -12 over penn st and -9 over Wisconsin... They already beat both. The Block M sells much more than the other two. Does anyone actually believe the big 10 winner has a chance to go to the playoff?

False. Michigan is far from out... You'll see. They will be ranked ahead of whoever wins big 10 title game. The point I'm trying to make is that it's difficult to take wisc/psu over mich considering they'd both be significant dogs, have both been beaten by Mich and do not have the same level of "name appeal". Appreciate your input though

Rose Bowl:  Wisconsin vs USC
Cotton Bowl:  Penn State vs Western Michigan

Playoffs:
Peach Bowl:  Washington vs Alabama
Fiesta Bowl:  Clemson vs Ohio State

At least that's the way I see it.
