Well, with SJSU getting crushed by Stanford isn't that appealing either!

Rained here overnight should taper off by game time, soggy field does help Hawaii  SJSU+17.5 UNDER 70 here.

I think Stanford beat the #1 team in the country......but I may be wrong.

    In '03, UH beat a La Tech team who was 3-3 at that juncture as well, and had knocked off Michigan State, and who's losses were to Boise, Miami, and Fresno.

    Reaching, I know, but it's comparable to tonight... 

    OK, no it's not, but it's all I could find...

    The Stanford game was one where it was 6-0 at the half (good half) and ended 37-0 because SJSU offense couldn't do anything...SJSU defense was on field to much and tired in 4th quarter (Stan 21pts. 4th Q).

    Hey guys, like a few on here, I'm in the SF Bay Area (about half an hour from San Jose) and it's raining.  Lots of clouds, pretty sh!tty weather actually.  And it's cold, brrrr

    But I'm also curious to see what HawaiiGuy's response is in regards to how Hawaii plays on a soggy field.

    great input as always hawaiiguy.. but i think hawaii is surely the play tonight.. i cant ever bet against hawaii because they can score 28 points in less then 10 minutes at any time.  i thought you would surely be on them tonight.. The only plus for san jose st. is the tomey factor you mentioned

    I locked in on my SJSU +18.5 on Tuesday. I still want Hawaii to win and run the table because I'd like to see them get a BCS bid (despite the crap schedule, which isn't entirely their fault since Michigan State bailed on them and USC and Michigan wouldn't take up their offer to play in the opening week - you think Michigan would've rather played Hawaii than AppSt?)

    If it's cold and rainy, and SJSU manages to win, I hope Tomey's players don't douse him with Gatorade, like they did last year when SJSU won the New Mexico Bowl in chilly temperatures. I fear he'll meet the same fate as George Allen.

    I'm about 45 miles away from San Jose and it's been raining all morning and I'm looking outside my window and it's still pouring down.  Don't see any chances of this rain stopping anytime soon.  I was gonna go watch this game but the rain and friday traffic will most likely keep me at home.  I don't know how this rain will effect both teams but keep this in mind this rain is suppose to stop on Sunday afternoon.  Any input on how it will effect Hawaii's offense will be greatly appreciated...

    I would love to see Hawaii run the table also...they still have to play Fresno, Boise, and Washington.  Those games are going to be tough! (even though they are all home games)
     
    Tonights game is a walk in the park compared to those games. 
     
    Yeah, regarding the George Allen bit, when John Ralston was coaching SJSU he was in his 70's and they wouldn't let players douse him with water.  (not that they ever won a game worthy of a douse)
