Florida State vs Memphis

Florida State is a -7 against Memphis.

Florida State released their depth chart and they have made no significant changes. Memphis has a decent run game which they will probably just run it down FSU throat until they can stop it. 

Florida State is pretty much an auto fade against any decent opponent until proven otherwise, right? 

This line was +18.5 pre season and was -1.5 after the BC loss. Has come back up substantially but Memphis is hardly a lock here. 

the correct assessment would have been to play FSU immediately after the BC loss at -1.5

 Memphis is a good G5 team but they hardly have the intestinal fortitude in the trenches to “run it down FSU throats” 

Tough call.

FSU is due for a good performance but they sure have looked bad…tread very carefully either way with this one…probably a stay away from game for most folks

Memphis has yet to be tested.  FSU is off a bye, and are a desperate team. This is a hard pass for me.

Why give your self a headache 

If someone put a gun to my head I would bet -7 FSU. But why bet this game at all? Who has any clue what the motivation is going to be for FSU at this point. They might all be thirsty for blood after the embarrassing losses theyve taken and they come out full motivated and murder Memphis. 

OR, they know their season is lost already and the players and coaches have all completely lost faith and feel like they have nothing to play for and they just mail it in the rest of the year. 

Unless you are friends with a player and they can give you an honest opinion of which of those scenarios is correct I see absolutely no reason to get involved. This would be the absolute last game on the card I would want to bet. 

For those interested in wagering on this game, I see value in some of their lines.  At this point, unsure if action will be made upon the game or it becomes a full pass.
