I’ve seen 2 big plays by Flo st… and the number 20 on bama defense… is going half speed.  Not sure whom that is… but that effort is piss poor … the body language on this dude is I don’t care … don’t remember seeing that effort in 3rd qtr of a bama player…. These are pro athletes now with free agency every season… different motivation these days.

True.  The players are no longer invested in their programs or their teammates like before.

Alabama has multiple top 75 players who will be drafted this year… they have no QB

 Yes.. bama has tough schedule… they are in some trouble… and good to see Flo st back… they look pretty good.

 Crazy that they are ranked #8 pre-season, under the circumstances.

Pre-season rankings mean nothing. Take the week 1 list and compare it to right before bowl season. I would say around 50% of it is not even there anymore.

Take Florida State last year. They were #10 going into Week 1.

Impossible to quantify just how much this diminishes their motivation.  Can’t dangle the NFL contract in front of them anymore.  They’re fat and happy and ain’t gonna get hurt or overextend themselves for the evil white man/corporation

 Not sure if FSU is paying big but they hit the jackpot with transfer guys like their QB and RB. FSU is rocking again and they got Gus Malzahn so that helps.

Agree with what you’re saying.  I was referring to the guys on the Bama defense.  It looked like they lacked grit once they got down,  like they quit.
