Idaho+41 at OM. Now being an Ole Miss fan I never bet on them, but I will give you some insight. You might ask how Idaho can cover +41, after OM just beat the #6 team in the country in LSU, but I will tell you.
First off, OM just lost it's starting TE in Evan Ingram, a guy who broke every Freshman TE record at OM. A guy who was on track to possibly be a Freshman All-American. Engram, out for the year. OM basically doesn't have another TE.
On the defensive side, they played without the top recruit in the country, their star DE is out for the year. Basically, they have a walk on starting at the DE position. They will be without their top 2 cover corners possibly.
On offense, Bo Wallace will play, but I can assure you he will be sat if this game gets to be a blowout. Freeze is not the coach to run up a score, but I don't see it being a blowout in the first place. I figure Bo plays a few series with the starters and then the back up in Bary Brunetti. Actually, I see their non-scholarship QB in John Ratliff getting a lot of time with Bary Brunetti banged up.
As I have said I don't see Freeze being coach to run up the score, but if this game get's into the 28-0 score I see some players playing who have no game time experience at all. Your opinion might vary, but OM hasn't beat a team by more than 41 points since 2009 when they played SE Missouri the second game of the year.

Plus, if you play this in a 13 point teaser and can get Idaho at +54 well, the last time OM beat a team by 54 points was in 2008 against Louisian Monroe. Not saying the OM team will not cover, but the chances of Freeze running up the score and not resting anyone that is significantly important to this team is second to none. This team is banged up enough as it is and the last thing he needs is another injury.

There will be guys playing for OM probably after the first quarter of this game who last played a significant game in HS more than likely. I can guarantee you this, after the first quarter there will be a lot of guys in this game who I don't even recognize. BOL whichever side people take in this game.

Iffy take on it. Ole Miss lost 3 in a row in conference and coming off a nice win against LSU for the home crowd. I think they put up points for the home crowd and have a nice little practice scrimmage.
Idaho is absolutely terrible..... they will get blown out in the first half and then the 2nd and 3rd stringers will still put up points from Ole Miss.

Loosing the TE will hurt Ole Miss going forward but not in this game. This will be the type of game that the young kids (and they have a lot of them) will want to show off. Ole Miss D is small but they can run. I look for a 56-7 final score. Won't be surprised if this line goes up either.

I'm telling you people, OM will be playing it's second string D in the second quarter. The guys who can make plays, Kndemchie, Prewitt, Sawyer will all be sitting. OM can't afford any more injuries in this scrimmage game. Idaho will at least score 10 points in my book. Which would mean OM would have to score 51 points. Sorry, but that won't happen here. But again, best of luck whichever side you take. I'm just giving insight being an insider of the program of my take of who will be playing and not playing. Fresno only beat Idaho by 46 and their QB passed the ball 48 times in the game, no way OM throws the ball over 25 times in this game.

Pondered this. A rule of thumb I like to use is not to bet on bad teams and Idaho is flat out bad. They can lose by 50+ at Mississippi. They lost by 42 to Washington State, got trounced by Fresno and even lost to Arkansas State, who i'm grading as suspect at best after last night's showing. A banged up Ole Miss was able to put points on the board and win vs. LSU.

Yes, Idaho will be starting their 3rd string QB, however the Rebels will also be playing a QB in this game who isn't even considered 3rd String in Ratliff.
I really see this game being in the 41-10 range maybe 41-14.

tsimmns, ole miss third string would probably start for idaho.. so when its 28-0 after a quarter and a half, the 2nd stringers tack on 2 tds in the rest of the 2nd and 3rd qtrs, youre gonna need a garbage bag set of players for idaho to outscore ole miss' third string.. flying down there, already packed it in for the year, no thanks..

This isn't a terrible play, nut who knows what to expect in the 2nd half with the score heavily lopsided? Problem with betting against SEC is their backups usually are just as good.

Question... You said ole miss will the be playing their back ups by the second quarter on d. But didn't a lot of their back ups play again lsu?? I mean a walk did start right lol. So my main question is, do they have the depth to sub most of their d and stay competitive? (yes, im aware it's Idaho)
Im just asking. I like the angle you have and this just popped into my head

Agree with simms. Am a diehard fan here, watch/attend all games. Freeze is not one to run up the score. Against SEMO they were up 31-0 at half......final score 31 - 13. I see all ones who sat against LSU, to still sit this week, RN, Hilton, Thompson. Engram out for year. Jeff scott to possibly sit but Walton and Mathers have been doing fine at RB. I could see some quick scores in the 1st quarter, I don't see Brunetti playing much as he already has a banged up shoulder and would be good with 2 solid weeks to rest which means Ratcliff "#3" QB, walk on who is the #3 because we are redshirting QB's, comes in at QB for possibly 2 or more quarters. I see Walton sitting with most starters but that leaves Mathers and Kailo Moore who might be fastest guy on the team looking to show out. All in all I don't see Freeze running up the score but can see a 28-0 score in the 2nd quarter and most starters sitting. Doesn't mean he can't stop the one's in there from scoring. Not sure I will play it but if I do it will be Idaho +41.

The U59 might be a better play. If Ole Miss shuts it down early I doubt they see 50 points, meaning Idaho would have to score more than 10 (current TT is 9) .....
