Hey man, just sharing some thoughts here.... But Clemson has a really good defense. I am obviously a Clemson fan and follow us closely and ACC. Clemson at pick over Iowa I think is far and away the best bet on the game in my opinion as I think COC and Coastal's 6-11 and 6-10 centers gave us too much trouble without our big man Jerai Grant we had last year. We would still won those games (vs COC & CC) 7 to 8 out of 10 but those losses have already happened and cant be erased. I just think Clemson needs this win. They cannot afford to lose one like this on top of their two bad losses and still expect to make it to the NCAA's.
But for the total on the game i was just wondering what your thoughts were on why you like the over? Not saying it isn't going to happen as anything can but honestly am wondering your reasoning? Maybe there's something you're thinking about that I haven't thought of... so just interested. But we don't have many consistent scoring threats this year besides Andre young. We had three starters return and our point guard has been replaced with a freshman pg who, although he can score pretty well, is more of a defensive pg and takes less shots than Stitt did last year. And we lost our big man Grant as well so our offense is not as effective as last years. But the defense has been top 25-like so far though, so I don't think Iowa will put up anymore than high 60's at the most. And if they put up high 60's we probably wont win. If this game is like any of the other ones I have watched, it should be scores in the low 60's. I think a total of 125-126 seems more within our range. Iowa putting up 75-80 vs bad teams so far doesn't really seem enough to change my mind on that. But I don't know too much about Iowa so your thoughts would be appreciated. thanks man

Im doing OHIO ST for sure tonight as well I love that pick... And Virginia is much improved this year especially since they got their best player back from injury but don't know if wanna touch that line. Michigan has proven to be a top 20 team and Virginia is still up in the air to just how good they really will be. Virginia holds opponents to low scoring too so it will definitely be a close game and if Michigan knocks down their 3's i could easily see them winning. I can see it going either way.

my internet has been messing up and when refreshed accidently posted this twice... my bad about that
iowa likes to push the ball, if both teams get around 60 attempts even with bad shooting they should get to the mid 60's i would think. clemson s d has been good but it's also faced a bunch of shitty offense s. coastal carolina, gardner webb, citadel and furman. the one good offense they faced in charleston they gave up 72 at home and the game flew over. iowa s d has not been that good at 46% so clemson should be able to push 70 i would think.

Yeah COC has a pretty good offense for a smaller team. Coastal's is not great but they certainly aren't awful. Even though their opponents haven't been any good, they are averaging 80 PPG and I think only lost 4 or 5 games games total last year and were supposed to be in the NCAA Tourny but got upset in title game. Anyway, I am just saying the 72 points to Charleston was Clemson's worst defensive game of year and in my opinion Charleston's team and offense is better than Iowa's. I do not know too much about Iowa other than what I saw from them last yer and I am guessing they should at least be somewhat improved with most starters returning. But they had a lot of games in big 10 where they scored low 60's. Kenpom has Clemson's defense #18 for a reason. But I definitely do see what you are saying and it may very well go over I was just throwing it out there that as a Clemson fan I would be surprised to see us get more than low 70's at tops. I would expect us to fall in the range we always have been the past few years in these types of games, if not lower, and thats usually in the mid 60's. And I don't see Iowa as an explosive offense to put up 70+
