i dont see how SJST's 8 man rotation is gonna work here. and they lost to UC Riverside. the line seems lower than expected, any insights would be appreciated although I already have them at half and game
So you handicap solely on line movement? You could care less who is on the court, matchups, defence, FT shooting, 3P shooting, etc.

I have SJ State +5.5. That line is based partly on St. Mary's points per possession which, if you run the numbers, you will see that YTD are better than last year's numbers. Their defensive points-per-possession allowed are also better than last year's figures. How can this be given that they lost Mills and Simpson?

What is so great about St. Marys when they're away from home? The only time they beat up on teams is in their wierd little gym in Moraga...They're on the road tonight and if SJ ST can keep it within 13 at a neutral site vs Washington than they obviously have the talent to possibly cover at home vs saint mary's.
Just remember, St Marys murders teams AT HOME...they are not at home tonight and SJSU has played competitive ball all year so far.
Not to mention this is the number 1 % play on the covers home page, which I never like to be on.

GL gabs/all. If you know how to break a game down quantitatively you see that all the true value is with SJ St. The line is more than fair.
Anything can happen!

Mickey McConnell is profiting from the expierience of filling in for Patty Mills last season and if you've seeen the Gaels play this year, the chemistry that this team has is special especially between Allen and Samhan.

I take SOS into account later in the year, but it's very hard to do and I've had difficulty being as precise as I'd like. I didn't do it in this game. This game is far from over. St. Mary's can bomb and they can get hot from three and cover your spread no matter the price.
Good luck. . .
