Posted winner on the WKU / Denver over last night.Potentially can be a fluid situation today (and next couple of days), so I will not limit the title of my posts to the particular game I am handicapping. And posts may be a little shorter due to time constraints and quickly moving lines
Play: DePaul / UConn Over 143
This one is simple. Since Oliver Purnell took over DePaul and implemented his full court press, fast paced tempo philosophies, we’ve seen totals vs UConn of 144, 168, and 134. Each one of these games saw 69+ possessions. This year DePaul is actually the 9th fastest team with respect to adjusted pace in the country averaging 72.4 possessions. KenPom predicts 70 possessions today. And until their last game vs Seton Hall, the previous 9 opponents during the month of February scored an average of 83.1 points vs the Blue Demons defense.
I believe we also get good value since in their previous meeting this year, DePaul scored a season low 54 points and only shot 38.6% from the field. Today we get an 5.5 point adjustment down on that total. I’d expect a very spirited effort from UConn as it’s in a must win scenario to improve its at-large resume. The Huskies have always performed well in MSG and the early afternoon crowd will be very pro-UConn. Based on these factors and the 81 possession meeting in last year’s BE tournament, I expect the game to quickly turn into a track meet.

Riccio - many mahalos for the picks. Just thought I would share that I've also been playing 1H and 2H plays (going opposite) that have made me extra money along the way - something to consider. HB

As always, fantastic write-up... best of luck today and the rest of the tourneys. My first (and likely 2nd thru 6th) cold one of the day is in your honor...
