After doing hours of research on tonight's games... Penn State @ Siena:
Record: Penn State: 16-17 Siena: 16-17
RPI: Penn State - 111 Siena - 194
SOS: Penn State - 59 Siena - 180
Now here's where it gets interesting...
- The Big Ten Conference is 61-0 this year against teams with an RPI of 201+
- Siena's RPI is 194, which is very close to that mark.
-The MAAC is 12-66 against the RPI Top 100, and 12-55 against teams with an RPI 51-100.
-Penn State is 7-10 against teams with an RPI 26-100
That means that Penn State alone has more than half as many wins in the RPI Top 100 as the entire MAAC combined!!!
-Siena's record in the MAAC: 11-9. They finished fifth in this terrible conference.
-Big Ten's record against teams with an RPI of 101+: 97-9
-On November 22nd, Siena beat Cornell on a last second layup to win 71-70
-Cornell is 2-26 this year and has only 1 win against a D1 opponent. And they should have beaten Siena. That's how bad they are.
-Sienna's best win was at home against St. Bonaventure (18-15) 72-70
-Penn State beat Nebraska and Ohio State Twice. So...
Penn State -3.5 is the play tonight folks. BIG. I can't see any reason why someone would back Siena. A Siena cover would defy all stats, all records, all trends, all logic. This one almost looks too good to be true.
Take it for what it's worth, just thought I'd share. And I might be back later to post more plays.

The linemakers have all those stats as well pretty low line for what seems to be a lopsided affair according to stats I wish it were as simple as the better team covering and winning but we all know that's not the case good luck on your play

I am pretty sure linemakers had Baylor at +4.5 and got it wrong. I am with BlackMamba like Penn St -3.5 I would probably buy the hook .5 to be safer. But I feel very strong about this play probably the best of today's bunch.

Issue with some of these games is will penn st play the younger freshman and soph instead since this tourney and game really mean nothing its the cbi!
I had Baylor mline on that yesterday everyone has different thoughts and might see a different angle he could be totally right just saying other factors involved other then stats

Have Penn st -2(bought 1.5 points) parlayed with UVA ML last night for +125 for quite a bit. LETS GO!!! I am worried though, I have not seen ONE PERSON on siena. *gulp*

I also like SMU ML -300, perhaps thrown in a couple parlays as a juice reducer.
SMU is 15-1 in home games this year with a home scoring margin of +14.1 ppg. Including wins over Uconn (74-65), Memphis (87-72), and Cincinnati (76-55)
LSU is 3-8 in true road games this year with their best road RPI win @ Texas Tech (RPI 117) by 2. SMU's RPI is 53
I think SMU covers the 7 but will probably lay off and take the money line. I don't see LSU winning this game.
