Way too early....They have too much talent ...If I recall... the Dodgers last year was 10 games below .500 50 games into the season and had Corey Seager out for the season...Kershaw was shaky.. and they made the WS.....They are only 6-7 games back LOL...

Batters are pressing. They should be able to get going offensively at some point one would think.
But if you want to talk pitching, they got none.
Porcello is brutal.
Eovaldi was horrible, now he's hurt.
Hector Velasquez can't go past 3 innings.
Sale's deal has to be mental. Remember the scissor incident with the White Sox? Who knows what's going on with him. When I thought he had dead arm after 2 outings of 90 to 93 mph fastballs, he threw 97 the next. I believe he can get back to form at some point. He struck out 10 today.
They would probably welcome back Drew Pomeranz with open arms right now.
The pen is below average, and Kimbrel is drinking a beer somewhere laughing his a s s off.

Pump the brakes bro. Thought someone who made as much money as you did in NCAA shooty hoops would have something called patience. They’re not even a month into the season. I don’t think they lost anyone on offense and the weather is still crap in Boston. bats will heat up in the coming months obviously with that roster. As far as pitching , you are correct. They got damn near close to nothing IMO
19th In bullpen ERA and DEAD LAST in mlb in starters ERA. wow

Last year Redsox didn't really have great pitching outside of Sale...What they did have was they lead the league in run differential..Almost every game they came back and won when down 1-2 runs....

Haha I not about bet, just general discussion.
I just had 100 on Redsox game 2. So not big deal. Not going big on any baseball games early in the season as I just cant get a read based on last years performances.

Sale is having trouble with his elbow, mark my words. Hitting velocity is not the same as placing pitches. He has left so many pitches hanging, over the plate, hittable...I'd be willing to put 50% of my bankroll that he has something going on internally in the elbow and may not even finish the year. His delivery is already non-traditional and may add to the strain...just my $0.02.
When you add in the stars of this team are playing sub par at best...it's completely contagious. Baseball is over 70% mental. You can fail 7/10 times and be a SuperStar in baseball...don't ever forget that. I was taught this by my hitting coach, who would've started in place of Tony Womack on the 2002 Diamondbacks at 2B, had he not pinched all the nerves in his neck in Spring Training.

There rotation, bullpen .. doesn’t really matter if they are close to contention they can trade for what they need like they did with eovaldi last year .. difference between the a’s and redsox.. redsox will trade and spend.. they have the same position players they .. they will eventually get there production in the lineup. Comes down to pitching and who they acquire to bolster the rotation.. I personally think sale will be fine he pitched well enough to win the game today.. I don’t see them adding Kimbrel because they already laughed at his contract demands.. it’s a long season

they should be in it til the end because no one will bury them.. yankees have there own IL issues .. nobody can stay healthy with that Triple a lineup ... and Tampa bay has yet to show they can compete they just lost two of 3 to Boston at the trop and really shoulda been swept.. Baltimore is just flat out Terrible and blue jays.. well the blue jays have the best rotation in the division .. but no bullpen and lack hitters
