Favorite to win the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500
After two "bad" races — a 10th-place finish at Las Vegas and a DNF at Talladega — Kyle Larson claimed the checkered flag (and re-took the points lead) last weekend at Charlotte and is the betting favorite this weekend at +340. Larson now has a NASCAR-best seven victories this season and has finished seventh or better in seven of his last 10 events.
Denny Hamlin (+600) is just behind Larson, in both the points standings and the betting board this weekend. Hamlin has been on an absolute tear in the postseason, finishing inside the Top 10 in all six events — including both of his 2021 victories — and is coming off a fifth-place result last weekend at Charlotte.
Defending champion Kyle Busch is third on the odds board at +750, coming off a fourth-place finish at Charlotte and having posted a Top-10 result in four straight Texas races.
Chase Elliott sits fourth (+750), coming off a 12th-place finish at Charlotte and having finished outside the Top 10 in four of his last five visits to Texas, while Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Blaney are tied for fifth at +900.
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
