How the BetMGM Bonus Code COVERS Works

The BetMGM bonus code COVERS unlocks different welcome offers depending on your state of residence. In most states including Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming, new users receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets if their first wager loses. In Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, the offer provides $150 in bonus bets after a qualifying $10 deposit and initial wager, regardless of the outcome.

For the $1,500 offer, you must deposit at least $10 and place your first real money bet on any market. If that bet loses, you'll receive your entire stake back as bonus bets, up to $1,500. If you wager more than $50, BetMGM awards five bonus bets worth 20 percent each of your qualifying wager. For example, if you wagered $100 on a Mariners-Yankees matchup and lost, you would receive five $20 bonus bets. Bonus bets expire after seven days and must be wagered before any winnings can be withdrawn. The offer is available until Sept. 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

For the $150 offer in select states, the bonus is issued as three $50 bonus bets that expire seven days from issuance. Both offers require the code COVERS at registration and apply to Tuesday's MLB and WNBA action.
