I like the supermodel as much as the next guy, but boobs are boobs, and box is alway pink. You need more than looks. My wife is gorgeous (to me) and she got even better looking when I got to know her and realize she loves me for who I am and puts up with all my bs. Dont worry about looks, as long as you find the girl attractive, that is all that matters. t |

Rained last night. Very grey, not freezing cold. More rain in Rockford and heading this direction. Tarp came off soldier field around 10:30am, so footing should be okay unless more rain comes.

I was losing shots trying to stick 200 yard shots, instead of just getting the ball around the green and playing for par. Every since I got the hybrids, I am in less trouble. Make sure you check out a hybrid set (blades in th 8-PW, cb in 5-7 irons, and 2 hybrids). Ping offers some great options and they customize everything (loft, lie, length, grip, shaft, head weight, they'll even grind wedges to your specs). Just make sure you get fitted by a reputable pro after hitting the clubs on a driving range, don't do any of that simulator stuff. t |

Thanks! Well, the "blades" of today are much more forgiving than the blades of yesteryear. That being said, you are not going to get more distance in the long/mid irons. Any sort of players club (blade or small-headed cavity back) is going to have a smaller sweet spot than a set of Callaway or Ping CB's. I played Mizuno Mp29's for years (imagine a set of various degree butter knives), but now play a Mizuno CB. Blades are the sweetest thing if you are a consistent ball striker and want to be able to work a shot, but even the best players are getting rid of their 3 and 4 irons in favor of hybrid clubs. My advice would be to go demo 5+ sets of irons and check-out all the new technology. If you are looking for more distance in the long irons, check out some hybrids. No shame if you can suddenly stick shots from 175+ out. Check out all the major manufac. for players clubs that are also cavity backs. Blades are great, but the amount of practice needed to maintain my game with them wasn't worth it. t |

This is a big loss (not only because he is 7'0), but as long as he is back after fall semester, the Cardinal will be fine. They are a very dangerous team with the Lopez brothers and the rest of there returning squad.

Gimme the 3.5. Air Force should be favored in this game. Nah, these interstate Colorado match-ups don't follow the same lines of logic as normal games. Colorado State stinks, but they'll be ready to play, same as if they were playing CU. Remember, one of Air Force biggest weapons is the altitude, and that doesn't apply to this game. 3.5 is probably a little high, but I don't think it is unreasonable for CSU to take this game. |

The best thing after a bad beat is to remember the time you where a beneficiary of a bad beat. It goes both ways, the problem is that we hardly remember the good times, while the bad times sting for years. For instance, I was on the Bears ML tonight. Very lucky, I won't remember anything about it by next week. However, I can remember every play of the Vikings blowing a cover last season to Arizona at the Metrodome. The Vikings where up 31-13 with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter and had 1st and goal on the Arizona 1. Vikings fumble, Arizona 99 yard TD. Followed up by Arizona scoring with 1 min left after converting multiple 4th downs, and the cover is gone. That one stung for weeks. So, to make myself forget about it, I remember something good. https://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=260516021 I had Phoenix -5 for my largest wager ever. Phoenix up 20 in the 3rd quarter, blow the lead. Game goes to OT, Raja Bell with a fade away 3 a the buzzer. Game goes to double OT, Suns cover. Man that one felt good. |

IBS is more a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning that your doctor will work-up all of your symptoms to see if it is anything else. IBS is legit, but a very vague disorder that seems to be different for each person that experiences it. There are a few medications that help IBS, but your doctor will recommend a dietary change with increased fiber in an attempt to make you more regular. If that doesn't work, then he'll suggest alternatives. Other possible explanations are a gastric or intestinal ulcer, gastric reflux disease, diverticulosis/diverticulitis, gall stones, or a developed lactose intolerance. Much rarer diagnosis would be colon cancer, chron's disease, or ulcerative colitis. Remember to tell your physician all of your symptoms and be prepared for a finger up the rectum or potentially a colonoscopy (done under sedation). Most likely, your symptoms can be solved with a dietary change and some bowel rest (not eating anything too fatty or weird for a while).

I really like Wisconsin to win this game. The Illini are definitely a rising team, but I feel that asking for 2 huge performances in a row is a little bit too much right now. Wisconsin, for all their flaws (and they have many flaws), knows how to win tight games. This cannot be overlooked. Everyone uses Wisconsin's tight games against them as a sign of vulnerability, when I see them as a sign of strength. Wisconsin doesn't make the mistakes down the stretch that younger and less experienced teams are prone to show. The Illini will play their hearts out, but lose this game late.

I have roughly $12,000 in available credit from my credit cards. I'm only using about $500 of it and that is the way it has always been for me. I drive a Lexus I paid cash for in 2003. I have a few dollars in the bank, a nice computer, and a few other toys. I'm not some degenerate gambler. My average bet ranges from $5 to $1000 depending on my current situation. I do watch most of my games on a small 26" tv but as soon as I can find a 42 LCD for 950 or less, I'll be all over it. OK, with that last paragraph you now have tons of material to bash me unless you would like to answer my original question. I would like that much more. Now if I can save this $5000... then why not!!!! Thanks@@ Interesting mindset. You spend a paragraph justifying your spending practices and state all of the material items you have purchased or will purchase. You have some sort of cash flow and seem like you aren't an idiot. All of this for a $5000 debt. By not paying this debt you are risking your credit score, your ability to get a home loan, your ability to co-sign a loan for anyone else in the future (I don't even know what happens if your future kids have to apply for financial aid for college with you as a co-signer), your ability to go back to school or graduate school. So, you are basically risking your entire financial future and well being over a $5000 debt that you signed up and agreed to, but dispute the services you received. Many people have $100,000+ in college and grad school loans and struggle their entire lives to pay them off while raising a family. Your situation seems rather petty and selfish in comparison, especially when your main justification is you don't like the price they bought your used book for. You ever sell a car back to the dealer? Anyway, such is life where each of us have to make adult decisions, I suggest you make the correct decision for your future and your potential family members. |

They should be undefeated and will be very fired up for this game. I think Wisky is running into a buzz saw here. MSU starts 3 offensive players that are 1st day NFL draft picks. The Illini are talented, but this is too much too soon. Wisconsin will win a close game that will be punctuated with Illini miscues down the stretch. I like the Illini a lot, but more for next season when Juice cuts the miscues down. I think the 3 is a gift in this situation. |

Very easy answer to this question.....
Benitez- Because not only does he suck giant donkey balls, but he actually believes that he is good and goes out of his way to call his teammates out on or off the field. The Giants dropped Benitez this season because he blew up at one of his teammates for an error. This coming from a guy who gave us the famous double balk loss to the Mets earlier this season. Check out the play-by-play below. Benitez is such a pompous fat ass, that even 6 fingers and Joe Table are better options. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore?gid=270529121&page=plays |

the only things in my mind i'm sure of are cooler about the west coast are:
1. sports times
2. proximity to vegas
3. weather
4. proximity to vegas
5. beaches
6. proximity to vegas
7. snow skiing To each his own, but.... I hate Las Vegas for anything other than a 3-day vacation. Some of the suburbs are decent, but the strip gets very annoying very quickly. I still go to Vegas for bachelor parties and the occasional march madness, but I can do my gambling from home with much better lines. I can go to the same type of night clubs and restaurants. It seems that a majority of your consideration is based on proximity to Las Vegas , which is your opinion, but I doubt than any other West Coast Fans would list Vegas as a driving force to remain in that area of the country. t |

Sorry Linde, my post wasn't meant to be addressed to you. I was using the "you" in my post to refer to Dodd. My whole take is that every one is entitled to their own opinion, Gundy, Carlson, and Dodd included. What gets me is that Carlson's opinion is merged with elements of fact that slants the reader to believing that the entire article is fact. Very similar to what trashy tabloids do to write articles and avoid getting in trouble with lawsuits. Gundy has every right to call her on any fabrications that she made. Now, I have no idea how much of her take was true, but judging from the sincerity of Gundy's rant, I have to believe that something was off. Dodd gets me because of the personal attack underlying his argument. Yes, journalists and sports are only successful together, but Dodd seems to think he can hire and fire coaches by the articles he writes. This whole thing happens daily in most major college towns, but it is nice to see a coach who cares about a player for the right reasons. |
