Took the regulation win for the Canucks tonight. Of the Oilers 6 home losses only one has been a 1 goal game, and none have gone to OT... knock on wood

As bad as LA has looked since coming back to north america, what has CGY done to warrant a 2-1 price tag? Other than losing a 4 goal lead and Kipprusoff looking average at best?
Best to put it in the parlay as you say...
like the B's and the Philly over

Even the computers know...
VANCOUVER - The Stanley Cup is headed to San Jose this season, according to a simulation by EA Sports using its made-in-Vancouver NHL 08 video game. The simulation has the Sharks defeating Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games in the final, with Joe Thornton winning the Conn Smythe Trophy. The video game has defending champion Anahaeim finishing first in the West at 51-24-7, followed by Colorado (48-26-8), Detroit (46-28-8), San Jose (43-22-17), Vancouver (47-28-7), Calgary (46-27-9), Edmonton (42-31-9) and Nashville (36-28-18). The Rangers (52-21-9) won the East, followed by Ottawa (49-26-7), Carolina (44-32-6), Pittsburgh (50-23-9), Tampa Bay (49-24-9), New Jersey (41-27-14), Toronto (41-28-13) and Buffalo (40-28-14). Montreal was 12th (41-34-7) in the East. The Sharks' gruelling road to the Cup in the playoffs took them past the Canucks and Red Wings, both in seven games, before dispatching the Oilers in six games in the simulated conference final. The Oilers downed Colorado in seven games in the first round of the playoffs, then beat Anaheim in six games before losing to the Sharks. Detroit took care of Calgary in six games in the first round. The simulation had the Penguins downing Tampa Bay in six games, Carolina in five and the Rangers in seven. Toronto edged Ottawa in seven games to open the playoffs, only to lose to the Rangers in six. |

I guess all futures have a shot... but I just can't see BUffalo doing much of anything after losing some serious firepower / heart. Still a good team, but they couldnt go deep with Briere and company... now have to make up for their losses and get through a tough division |
